You see me through when I'm lonely and scared, and I'm feeling true to the written word

OOO! Swans!

Gawd, doesn't it look bleak?!
The red zone surroundingS don't help.....this used to be quite a lovely spot by the river, until the earthquake caused the banks to move in and down a few metres.....now all the houses are gone, or going, the bridges and roads are fecked and being replaced...slowly, slowly...

The bird life doesn't give a shit, however, and aren't these swans majestic?!

Here is my baby looking spiffy!
I made him that jacket a few years ago. I used to make him something every year for his birthday, but I've been rather slack the last few.

Swans are so graceful. That jacket you made G is amazing, looks perfect on him too. That earthquake sure did change the land, hopefully one day all will be fixed, but it is taking some time. Love you in Orange!

Well, it might look a little bleak (oh the ongoing effects of that bloody earthquake) but the beautiful birds make up for the damage - and I include the fabulous bird with the orange and red plumage! Don't you look gorgeous in those earthy tones with that big bear of a coat and wonderful shoes and bag?
I feel it's been ages since we got to see G in posing action, he's looking spiffy! That's a great jacket you made, love the details of the seaming and the buttons, all military chic, and a perfect fit! Clever Helga!
Looooove yooooou! xxxx

Well its been ages since I was here but thought I would pop over and say hello. You look as fabulous as ever when I see people wearing bright coloured tights it reminds me of you and your huge collection over the years :-) Loving the orange ones. Beautiful birds and swans to our swans are pure white over here and they are so regal and beautiful I go to the canal every night to walk my dog Kia and there is a family of 5 signets with mummy and daddy swan such a lovely sight to watch them grow and change. You both look gorgeous, dee xx

You're very talented, anytime I try to make anything for the man it goes horribly wrong. You've just made me realise I don't have enough orange in my wardrobe. Xx

I just want to rip the coat off your back and run away!!! Then theres the added bonus of someone other than a skinhead wearing ox blood MS

What an oddly appropriate winter color combination you've found! There are the browns and grays, with pops of orange -- in the landscape and in your ensemble. And winter's swans are black, whilst summer's swans are white...
Bleak, but beautiful.

Beautiful, as always, my dear! And that jacket you made G - wow!!!!

Did you also make your hat? If so, I need the pattern!

A tad bleak but with you and G in the foreground its a whole lot better. Love your fab orange hat and that delectably snuggly coat and I remember that Helga-made jacket very well, a masterpiece.
I do love a swan but am a little disappointed with their feet, not as pretty as the main bit.
Love you! xxxxxx

Bleak and you in the same frame NEVER! You look autumnally blissful hanging with the swans...down by the pond. I have to say G is looking pretty hot in that jacket you made him, rock star that one is! You need to make him something again since that coat is just too fab!
Love you!!

It might be a bit bleak without you in the foreground looking like a Tim Burton version of Red Riding Hood and your lovely G doing his best male model poses. Thank goodness for you to jazz up the landscape. Gawd, it does sound cold over there though. Thank goodness you have one another and Peepers to snuggle up with. Swans are mesmerising and regal just like you my love! Xxxxxxxx

Yes, it does look a little bleak but you are a bright spot, and the swans obviously agree! Love the jacket you made for G. It looks great on him and he is indeed looking spiffy!

You make everything rather gorgeous!Love the orange hues, tones and everything! - your swans are very polite or maybe it's me who seems to attract aggressive ones (the last one demanded cookies, cheeky bugger, the swan was nearly as big as me....ok maybe not, but it was huge) G's coat is a magnificent piece of work, and yes he looks awesome! x x x

Orange, orange, orange in the red zone! We had a swan come and look in our car window the other day with neck stretched. We didn't dare get out. Talk about intimidation!
You grace the bleak day, and precinct. XO JJ

You are always a blast of colour and texture, but G looks especially fine in these photos! What a fab jacket you made for him, and the sunglasses, the boots, the hat - hotness abounds!

I get excited whenever I see swans too! They are so graceful but can be fierce if you have food and don't give them any.

Look at you you orange wonder, I love your outfits always! I never stopped to think about the animals and so on after the earth quake. I suppose life just goes on for them, eating and sleeping and making babies.
Fab job on that jacket! It looks really good on him!
