Friday state of mind.

I had quite a lot of bubbly before we went out last night.
And then a reasonable bit of red wine whilst we were there.
I wouldn't say I was trolleyed, but I definetly feel a little worse for wear this morning.
Behold the evidence below:
Notice anything interesting?
Took me a while to notice.
I am not amused.
I am a trifle embarrassed.
I'm planning on a nap this afternoon, after I pick up tickets for Tuesdays Amanda Fucking Palmer gig at Al's Bar.
I clearly need it.

yeah, Real Life!, I think anyone can go out in the morning wearing assorted socks, shoes or whatever item (but my strong point is to wear undone buttons/zippers!, very inconvenient, ;DD)
But you're lovely anyway, your tights are beautiful and both boots are pretty boots!

Uh oh... coffee on my keyboard again! That is fab Helga - the heels must be very similar?

I love your frock from last night - what wonderful detail! The brooch, the neck detail, the sleeves, the polka dots - it has everything! You look beautiful, as always!

Oh no! Booze has made your shin shrink! Only joking, I've got a rum on the go and I can see you've dressed in a sozzled state but at least that proves you didn't go to bed in your boots so you couldn't have been that bad.
LOve the Mrs Slocombe frock but love you more!
Lots of love,

OMG! You're going to see Amanda Palmer?? I'm JEALOUS! I love the Dresden Dolls and Evelyn Evelyn! Will there be pictures? =D

The miss-matched boots are hilarious. You must have been quite hung over to make that mistake but to be honest they do look similar. I would be worried if they had different hight heels and you still didn't notice that you were walking with a stoop haha!

Ahahahaha! Oh bless, you must have been in a slightly grizzly mood to do that. I nearly went to work without my skirt on this morning - I had to get up far too early and I just don't function well before about 9am!

Brilliant, simply brilliant!
My forte is wearing things inside out & back to front ;)
Helena Bonham Carter wore mismatched shoes on the red carpet not that long ago and in my opinion she cocking ROCKS!
I hope you just said to any bewildered souls…

I'm sure you had a good time though ;)

I have a confession to make myself. .

This time back home, I wore a pair of laceup boots back. I bought them from ebay. My mother noticed that the heel was slightly worn (i.e. detached heel cap on one side) and my father brought them to the cobbler. Following which the cobbler said to my father,

"Does the wearer of this pair have legs of uneven length!"

Apparently the previous owner had had one side of the heel replaced. The difference in height between both is 1.5 inches. Oh God.

My father now thinks I'm even crazier for never noticing problems when I walk!

I do love that red outfit! Don't feel too bad about the shoes - the building I work in is next door to number one shoe warehouse. When I was walking to work I noticed a rather nervous looking woman waiting for the store to open, I then heard her on her cell lamenting the fact that she had put on two mismatched shoes this morning. She was desperately waiting for the store to open so she wouldn't have to explain to her workmates her shoe dilemma.
