Tiny disasters

My dressing/sewing room is a bit messy, gonna tackle that this afternoon.....the kitchen wasn't too bad to clean up.....
not sure how you'd tackle this,though...

This is the road by the river on the way to Justine's. Just a little sample of it.
G and I walked over to the other side of Hagley park to get our car this morning. We had to leave it and walk home, as the traffic was really intense. Took us 2 1/2 hours anyway, normally would be 20 mins by car, or 40 mins by bicycle.
There's police and military on every corner leading to the centre of the city; we saw 2 armoured tanks! There's water being handed out, work already going on. just had another quake as I type. Thats the 3rd in the last hour.
Such is life!
I have the urge to dress up this afternoon.
I simply must succumb!
Vix reckon's I'll be "shopping my closet" as I tidy up, as who knows what's buried in there that I've forgotten about!!!
You all totally rock; I want to take you all to a big field and make love to you all!!!

Oh crumbs, look at the mess! And the road - jesus, that's scary. If I had magic Mary Poppins type tidying up powers I'd be there in a dash to click my fingers and get helping. I like Vix's take on things though - bet you turn up all sorts of goodies from the depths of your wardrobe!

You rock more!

Oh dear that is a lot of sorting to be done. I do hope Vix is right and you find lots of forgotten treasures in your tidy up. The road is frightening! I'm so glad you are both okay. x

So glad that mostly all you had to do was some sorting and replace some broken stuff no doubt. Must be very surreal, having been in an unusual emergency type situation myself the thing that struck me most is that some peoples lives can be so disturbed and the rest of the world is getting on with stuff as normal, always found that surreal.

Hope all gets sorted soon and I'm sure if the rest of the peeps have your attitude it'll be back on top before you know it.

Bloody hell! That road looks scary. In fact looking at that made me feel a bit sick as did the damage in your kitchen. The clothes just look like mine do after I get dressed in the morning!
Thank the gods of wine, op-shopping and fabulousness that you and your pals are all okay and able to get through all this.
Can't wait to see what long-forgotten gloriousness you uncover in your tidy-up.
It was fantastic to chat yesterday!
Love you loads!

Take me Helga!

But bloody hell. That crack in the road is extreme. At least tidying up is just tidying up huh, there are worse things than a big clean-up. xx

God, look at that road...it's scary stuff.
I'm so glad theres not so much damage that a big tidy up won't sort out at yours.

How lucky that you appear to just have some tidying and a few broken bits to replace. The road looks pretty scary. I can't imagine how you all must be feeling, but it sounds like the authorities are pretty organised x

Blimey! Your poor sewing room looks upside down!
Looks like there isn't too many broken things thought so that's a very big plus!

The crack in the road looks more like a trench! It's good that the authorities seem to be acting fast in dealing with this crisis.. more earthquakes! Crikey! xxx

You can take me anywhere and do anything to me! I am SO glad you guys are ok and it's lovely to see that your sense of humour has been shaken but not damaged. It's awful watching the news as the death toll keeps rising and the horror stories are revealed.
