Helga, about to pee herself with excitement

EEEK!

1 sleep before I hit Sydney!

I'm having a celebratory mimosa, and G is going to make me nachos for dinner.

I'm going to try and have an early night, as I-we; G is driving me to the airport-have to be up at 4am.

4 AM!

It's just not cricket, but that's how it is when you get a bargainacious flight.

Today I wore:

Frock-70's midi, shortened. I think I got it from the theatre sale I went to early last year

Bow tie thingy-made by moi from opshopped grograin ribbon

Tights-The Warehouse ( I wonder if it's like the English Asda I hear of?)

Shoes-Hannah's sale a couple of years back

Handbag-vintage Rex, opshopped

Mini hat-an Asian shop at our local-currently earthquake victim-mall

Bracelet-present from Justine

Necklace-vintage, opshopped

We start daylight saving over the weekend whilst I'm away.

It always makes me sad, cos it's the real death-nell for Summer......

I don't mind Autumn, but Winter.....ugh.

Can't change it, so I'm just gonna have to embrace it and funk me up some Winter wear!!

Sounds like chandeliers are expensive everywhere...poo....I can still fantasize about a sweet little Helga style chandelier, waiting for me to find it.....at a very special price!

Hurrah!

X

Dahling, Liz and I are having SOOOO much fun! Make sure you tune into her blog to catch the updates and snaps! We were talking about you and she thinks you're just as divine as I think you are! OH and by the way, your Evie Harris is making a new movie. The actors raised funds by fan donations to make another one, and it is in the works. Had fun makeup shopping today, she'll post the pics tomorrow but we have a few up from playing around the moment I arrived...love knowing you're out being fabulous, alive and well...xoxoxo Auntie, you're the best!

Eek, I'm so excited for you - please take millions of photos so we can see all the frolics and shenanigans. Will any opshopping be taking place?

What's The Warehouse like? Asda is just a big supermarket, although the clothes section is fairly decent as supermarkets go. We have a High St shop called Warehouse which is a bit full of boring, overpriced flimsy, trendy sort of stuff.

Gorgeous colour on that dress. Hope you find a lovely chandelier x

I love that colour and the cute little hat. Also those tights are rad - who knew you could buy something that awesome at The Warehouse! Clearly I need to pay more attention when I am there.

So looking forward to your pics of Sydney for inspiration for my trip.

That blue dress is the same colour as Vix's and one of mine. I adore the colour, it reminds me of summer. Maybe we should declare an international-70s-turquoise fest and get everyone to crack out their aqua on the same day!! ;)

Do you know, I caught your head and shoulders first and thought 'pretty but quite plain for Helga'. And then the leopard print legs came back in. You absolutely CANNOT go wrong with a bit o' leopard. Enjoy the trip!
