Rockin' Rangoon on a Wednesday Night

We went out to Rangoon last night to take Justine out for dinner, as she is going a little barmy out there in the wop wops.
(Rangoon is known as Rangiora in the local vernacular, btw)
G obliged me by taking a couple of pics on the way out.
Check out the moody sky!

There aren't a lot of choices, as far as restaurants go.
We went to the only Thai restaurant. It was ok.

I do like a BYO restaurant, though.
The pinot noir we took went straight to my head.

Vulvareen action shots.

We ended up at a bar, all decked out Wild West style.
Um, I think there were 2 other people in there, playing the pokies.
There was asome good music, amazingly, and a bison head on the wall.
G felt that it needed glowing eyes and steam coming out of its nostrils.
I should have taken a pic, but by that time things were a little blurry, and apparently I loudly treated downtown Rangoon to a song about a donkey.
I feel fine today!

I love that dress. I bet you were the most fabulous thing to hit Rangiora in a long time. G obviously has impeccable taste if he picked out that lovely coat.

Ha! What a fab Wednesday night! How long does it take to drive to Rangoon from your place?

Love your outfit (another fabulous handmade frock!!) and I ADORE that jacket. Bringing it to Sydney??? (Wicked coat stealing cackle and little finger in the corner of mouth...)

No snark about Rangiora plz! My man lives there... well, 18 km from there. But it's the closest thing to him that vaguely resembles a town. This is so cute, you look like you're having fun!

I'd forgotten that gorgeous dress, you do look rather magnificent in it. I can't believe how even more beautiful you look in that fringe.
Very naughty behaviour for a school night. What are the words to the donkey song? I need to know.
Love ya

That's a fantastic dress. You're a skilled tailor! I'm wondering if the rest of the bison was in the main course. You certainly know how to treat a Wednesday - kudos to you for avoiding a hangover (possibly a benefit from bison meat?) Also - love your lippie! Can you divulge the lippie details?

What, no video of the donkey song? For shame! You know we're all dying to hear it!

I seriously love you with that fringe.
