Recovering slowly

Here I am in one of my new frocks!

The very first frock purchase, in fact!

A retro delight with divine faux pockets!

Almost everything in yesterday's pix were what I bought, with some exceptions that were gifts from my gorgeous Sarah ....what a woman!!! I felt like I'd known her forever!

And what a fantastic shopping partner she makes. Our shopping mojo was HOT!

And no, I didn't take a spare suitcase....I wish I did, though!

I'll just have to go back again!

This spectacular brooch and scarf ring were 2 of my finds.

Honestly.

I had the best weekend!

Totally wore myself out. I slept for 11 hours last night, and am looking forward to a follow up tonight!

The old grey mare ain't quite what she used to be, but she performed pretty well!

Newtown is brillant, if you get the chance-go!

Sarah , you freakin' rock, and I love you!

X

Those brooches are exactly what I love to hunt for and collect. Wonderful colourful sparkle, I add them to bags, jackets - even hair clips (especially if they are pennies cuz the back's gone). What fabulousness!

I love those costume jewelry bits you bought up. I don't care if it is Cartier or costume pieces, I LOVE that women have so many options on any budget to spruce up a wardrobe. You've done it again, Auntie Helga...seriously, I love the jewelry and the clothes you bought whilst on holiday! Seeing you girls all dolled up brought a smile to my face!
