Tattoo me

Yet another splendid sunnyAutumn day!!!

I like it. I like a lot.
It's been slightly surreal, getting tattoed whilst a 6 year old is bouncing around to Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry with 2 loopy dogs playing at her feet and having a deep esoteric discussion with my tattooist Sonja.

A pretty good way to start a Sunday, I must say!

Whilst not particularly painful, due to an awesome new machine Sonja had, I never-the-less required a medicinal vodka when I got home.

Wearing:

Frock-opshopped and customised by moi

Cardi-opshopped

Crinoline-opshopped

Tights-gift from darling Sarah

Shoes-somewhere

Handbag-vintage, school fair

I managed over 2 1/2 hours today, the longest I've ever managed!

( I' m a wuss-Kiwi term for wimp!)
Sonja got quite a lot done, and it may only need one more session!

The colours are wonderful!

This is what I wore last night!

I'll post more about that tomorrow!

You remind me of the Mad Hatter in that first outfit, but in the best possible way! Feck, I am completely in love with your backpiece. It is gorgeous! Good work on making it through a 2 1/2 hour session, I'm pretty sure you're tougher than I am.

Love the tattoo, I've never quite got round to getting one, I've had the design for years but I have a low pain threshold, well that's my excuse!

*swoon* LOVE that red dress.

Wow, that is a beautiful design, really well done. It doesn't even look sore, guess the vodka did its magic!

Oh my god, that tattoo is so beautiful, a real work of art. 2.5 hours is pretty good going, I'm well impressed (and we say, wuss, too).
That red dress is so bloody sexy on you but I'm blown away by the stripey tights and the net petticoat.
Love you!

Your tattoo is coming on beautifully! I love those tights, every time I see them I think of Beetlegeuse :0).
The petticoats look terrific too, shame you can't wear that on the outside to show it off!

Gawd that tattoo is seriously beautiful! Love the blue petticoat with the stripy tights. I am a bit of a wuss dresser, but you and Psycho Sue and several other bloggers are certainly giving me the inspiration and courage to dress the way I want to dress!

Got a bit of a Cyndi Lauper thing going on with the first outfit, I feel. Love the tattoo - mine is teeny-weeny, you are so much tougher than me!

And my, what a red-hot hot hottie in the red frock - looking forward to seeing/hearing more.

Your tattoo is SO GORGEOUS!! I love it!
I am so much of a wuss I do not think I will EVER get a tattoo. I feel faint at just the thought of a needle! When I was in elementary school and we had to get a shot I passed out after mine. bwhahahahaha

You alway have such beautiful outfits Helga!

Anyone who can sit through 2 and a half hours of tattooing is no wuss!! It looks very finely detailed, lovely. And that red dress is a STUNNER, I'm horribly jealous!!
