Frock and roll

We've been invited to an "opposites" themed party tonight.

We think we know what we will wear.....

But today, I wore this darling frock that my beloved Vix sent me last year.

I've taken the sleeves off, as they were a little voluminous and battling it out for supremacy with my booboids.

A girl can deal with only one ginormous thing on her person at a time.

I got a wee opshop in on the way home from getting waxed.

These 2 frocks were 50c each!

The best bargain I've had in a while!

And these two mugs, which I quite fancy.

The Come Dine With Me I've been watching is the British one.

I didn't know there was an Aussie one!

I haven't been watching regularly, so no worries about the cat being let out of the bag, Ivy.

Besides, I quite like knowing......

Tote bag news!

The tote bag has left Ivy and is on it's way to Nelly.

Then it will be on to Boheme , and then to Miss Peregrin ....

Hurrah!!!

What's everybody up to this weekend?!

X

You look mighty splendiferous.. although a little understated for you!
You have been appearing in some wonderful frocks lately, but I have been having commenting issues..

Bloke is 45 today but we are too knackered on a fri night to get up to celebrating much!
How sad is that?
Opposites party sounds fun.
Hope it is.

Ooh, I do like the blue floral number. I love blue, and I love flowers, can't go wrong.

It's a boring weekend packing for me mostly as next week I'm off to Kent (East coast UK) for a holiday. X

As Op Shop Mama says, that's quite an understated look, but still great!

The dresses are a fantastic find - you'd be lucky to find anything like that in my local charity shops, let alone for such a bargain price.

No special plans for the weekend, although Baby Bird and I are off for a picnic with friends this afternoon. I think we may just try and sort the garden out if the weather stays nice.

Have fun tonight x

Beautiful dress bargains! I am a Come Dine with Me addict! It's a sort of joke amongst everyone. I'd happily watch nothing else for months on end. xxx

The booboids pillows come first!

Gorgeous cameo necklace you are wearing!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this tote bag turns out.. I'm imagining a mish mash prettiness!

I'm getting my tattoo done tomorrow and then on to some shops to look at wallpaper for the living room! xxx

That frock is divine without the sleeves, your booboids get all the attention (quite rightly). Loving those scores, especially the stripey number.
I can't wait to see the party pictures, you two are going steal the show (that's you and G, not your boobs).
Once I've dyed my roots and blogged I'm off to the pub, there's a dinner party, car boot sale and a massive hangover to follow, no doubt!
Love you! Vix xxx

I hope that you're dressing up as G in something splendiferously leopard print, with some drumsticks to hand, and he's frocking up as you. Or have I misunderstood the point of the party? Quite probably. Much wine has been quaffed this evening.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, you lovely woman you. Mwah!

Looking fabulous and fantastic, as you always do!! Boobs must always win, I feel! I'm off on a secret styling assignment this weekend, my first professional one ever and I'm a bit nervous!

I love the dress. Good effort whapping off the sleeves - you don't want to detract from the booboids. This weekend we're mostly celebrating our 10th anniversary! Yay! x
