Modern Technology

Here I am, bright eyed and bushy tailed!
Pretty much back to normal!

Back to work today, yay!

A girl can't bear to miss a day of work, who knows what exciting things could be happening?!

My internet has been giving me jip.

After waiting on the phone sometime for a Telstra Clear representative to help, after being forced to listen to Piano Doodledreams Murders Movie Themes, it appears that my wireless thingy crapped out and I'll have to re-configure it all over again.

In the interim, until I can be bothered, I am reconnected by umbilical cord.

Have you any idea how fricking traumatising that is?!

So, I wasn't able to post some pix I took yesterday afternoon, when I started perking up and decided to make leek and potato soup for dinner.

But here they are now.

I'm feeling very into this necklace combination right now.

Both gifts from my beloved Vix
So are my tights!

I opshopped these boots last year, and have hardly worn them!

They're my blue suede boots!

The joy of vegetables.

Mulched to creamy goodness....where's the butter?!

I think it was the best leek and potato soup I have ever made.

Don't ask me how!

G and I have decided that we simply must go out for dinner, and as our fave Thai restaurant is still closed from the quakey, we are going to try out the local Thai.

Shamefully, we've only eaten there about 3 times in the 11 years we've lived in this suburb!

It's nice, but just doesn't compare to our fave.

But a girl will make do, and with the help of some lovely red vino, I think we can make an evening of it!

I'm stoked to be back to feeling faaabulous; I'm sure it's all thanks to you darlings and tyour well wishes!

Love the blue suede boots! I don't know what part of town you live in, but I think the absolute best Thai in Chch is May's Thai which is on Wairakei Rd in Bryndwyr, the food is amazing! I love going out for dinner and the lack of restaurants and cafes after the quake is seriously annoying. Tomorrow my boy and I are trying out Pizzacarto, which is a pizza place (duh, Georgia) near uni that's good good reviews, I'm soo excited!

I do believe this one of my fave outfits ever on you. The blue suede boots are an absolute treat, the frock is gorgeous and all the bits from Vix are, as usual with her presents, perfect.

How was the Thai meal? Hope it's not too long till your favourite place is able to reopen.
