Some of Saturday...

'Twas a very busy Saturday for Helga!
Justine had birthday drinks at ours last night (pix soon), so we had a little bit of organising to do.

We took Baby Rose out to Justine's parents in Rangoon, did a few groceries.

In the early evening we picked up Pixie from the airport.

I wore:

Frock-opshopped

Scarf-vintage, opshopped

Coat and stockings-my beloved Vix

(Mary Quant stay up's, actually, that unfortunately rolled)

Handbag-vintage, school fair

Shoes-ophopped

We had a lovely lunch in the midst of it all, did a little shopping, and even managed afternoon naps!

I bought 2 new hats and a fabulous necklace.....pix soon!

An important mission I had for the evening was to do Cousin Phil's makeup.

He had a fancy dress party to go to; the theme was rock icons, or something like that.

He went as Dee Snider from Twisted Sister!!!

He put so much effort into his costume!

And looked AMAZING!!!!

He was a dream to make up, didn't blink or twitch at all!

Anyways, we had a pretty mellow night with a few of Justine's nearest and dearest.

Somehow, I stayed up til 4am!

This is a rare achievement for me!

And yes, I am hungover.

X

oops, forgot to say that I'm going to making loads more rings in July after the first leg of my massage course and as soon as I can source some decent ring backings... they'll be plenty up for grabs then so if you have a fave colour drop me a line

I actually thought your stockings looked pretty funky rolled, quirky. Your makeup job on your cousin was fantastic, and well done at lasting until 4am, its been a very long time since I've managed a night so late.

Oh BTW Peter Cushing wasn't born in Whitstable but moved there later in life. Mum is a mega Hammer horror fan, hence we had to get to his house. :-) xx

Reminds me - we were at a festival were twisted sisters were headlining. My husbands band had finished playing so we were leaving for the hotel. Our daughter wag5 at the time, and I said she could take her earplugs out as we were leaving. She froze and said " we cant leave barbie is on stage"
It really made me laugh, as she was totally right he looked like barbie with the hair, make up and outfit
