Blame it on my wild heart

What girl growing up during the 70's wasn't obsessed with Stevie Nicks?!

My parents bought "Rumours" for me, I wanted to change my name to Rhiannon, and loved wafting around in sheets, scarves, whatever.....

I've certainly got a soft spot for Stevie, and have a few of her cd's. G bought me "Enchanted" a box set, some years ago, that has some awesome pix and different tracks.

I once had a copy someone made me of the Buckingham Nicks album, which was bloody brillant.

I bloody lost it, though.

She lost me a bit during that late 80's, I must admit, but she's a survivor and fecking cool.

X

Party pix tomorrow!

Can't believe that you out-Stevie Stevie!

Je l'adore, and I love it that you have the trademark touches down pat!

I saw her perform in London just last weekend - Her first solo gig here in over twenty years - She's still got 'it' - So have you, darling, wild-at-heart, Helga! x

p.s. Her new album, In Your Dreams, mainly produced and with music from Dave Stewart, is just lovely x

Oh lovely Helga as lovely Stevie, what great pictures! And you sent me back to that album, which is where I sort of lost track of her, but I'm getting the new CD with my birthday money (how old am I? 12?)

Hat? Tambourine? Boots? Shawl? Twirly whirly dress? Attitude? Yup, you got it all!

(PS. Just found a delightful little clip on Youtube of Stevie rehearsing the chorus of Wild heart back stage while her make up lady waits for her - she looks really adorable and sounds great.)

Awesome photos. I'm a huge fan of Stevie Nicks. I know it's obvious, but Edge of Seventeen is such a fantastic song, it's bit hard to beat.

How on earth did I miss this!!! You are Stevie Nicks re-encarnated!!! She is da bomb and so are you gorgeous!!

I flew all the way back to little ole Taranaki (sometime in Dec 09?) to see the Mac at my all time favourite concert venue ...the Bowl of Brooklands! It was a blast!

I agree the 70's era was her best :-)
