Cat-Trade Me

Cat-Trade Me

(like E Bay, for newer readers!, in NZ/Australia only)

Speaking of new readers, I see I have a few!

Hello there!

You're most welcome!

Cheers for comments, it's always exciting to see a new face!

Feel free to ask questions, blah di blah.....

I've been waiting on these 2 hats I scored off Trade Me to arrive quite anxiously!

They were a bloody bargain, $7 NZ for the 2 of them!

Squee!

I was rather pleased to arrive home today and find them waiting on me.

I also received this frock in the mail.......

I plan to wear it on Saturday night, so you'll get to admire me in it then.

Pee Pee is showing you the few things I picked up in the opshops down South.

Not really a lot.

A vintage cardi, a frock, a couple of pairs of vintage socks (!),some sewing needles in darling old packets, some white buttons, a shimmery scarf, a crochet cape that needs a good wash in something that'll fluff up the wool (any ideas?!) and a navy vinyl wallet.

O, and the christmas tree lights.

Nothing to wet oneself over, but could have been worse!

The car has finally arrived in Christchurch to our mechanics this afternoon.

Why the feck it took so long I don't know.

Whatever!

Right.

I'm going to go and make G his favourite Thai fish ball curry now.

Read it and weep!

Helga, you are the most wonderfully colourful person! I LOVE that coat, I saw one like it in Ludlow, I loved it but not at £95!!! I can't wait to see your new frock, it does look interesting. Xx

Yay! Roots, what roots? I'm dazzled by your gorgeousness!
The hats are here and looking glorious, can't wait for an outfit shoot.
Those kittens are the best Trade-Me buy ever though!
Washing that cape in baby shampoo should have it looking tip-top in no time.
Love you!

LOVE the green coat - and with red tights too! Have you done a Wardrobe Tour on your blog - your clothes storage must be one seriously large walk-in wardrobe!

Pee Pee is just wanting you to hang those lights up so some cat-dangling can happen...:)

Maybe they took your car on the long round-the-coast route? x

Oh what a vision of colourful gorgeousness to see on a wet Thursday morning! Loving you in red and green.

And can I say (without sounding like an elderly lech - I know they love you too Helga!) that you have a most shapely ankle? I am normally too bedazzled by the booboids to get as far as your feet, but look at them - elegance encaspulated!! (Me, I'm a cankle kinda girl - keep looking for them but no, can't see an ankle at all...)

Did you REALLY get the kits from Trade-Me?
Great hats. Looking forward to seeing that dress in action xxxxxxxxxx

Roots are the new porn. My hair is 3 colors right now and I found a spot in my bangs growing straight silver. Might color every thing else and leave a skunk stripe there. hmmm. Real women have roots.

the outfit is eye-popping. Here's a culinary question for you: do you make pho, a Thai dish of fish and coconut milk?

Great threads lady and love the bee hive! Yes Pee Pee is a funny name however I can top that...my brother has two dogs one is named poop and the other is named Kaka. No joke I can't make this stuff up (just so you know my brother is not 14 years old - he is 57 - insert eye rolls here).
