The Teaspoon of Torment!

Gawd, sometimes G is such a shit.
Today we had the "rat whisperer" in at work, as there are apparently rat cadevers somewhere I don't want to know about......this lead, in a not too roundabout way, to my telling G about how, in the early 80's, I used to read icky lame horrors like "Rats" and "Lair" (which gave me nightmares), and others by James Herbert and I was trying to think of other horror writers of the time, like John Saul......whereupon G decided to take the piss out of me by going on about The Teaspoon in an ominous voice....."I can hear it rattling in the teacup in the night......clinkety clink"......"the Teaspoon of Death?" asked I........."no, the Teaspoon of Torment" said G in his best Monty Python voice.

Here endeth the lesson for today.

red white and black is always a good colour combo on you!
I did indeed have a couple of drinks after the fair but not really during, am still on a diet for one thing (8 kilos lost, 10 to go) plus I got really pissed during a fair once and completely BROKE a rack-not a good look! And yes of course the trolley will be heaving with alcolhol when you visit my lovely!

Lol at the teaspoon of torment! They used to sell those dodgy horror novels in the supermarket when I was small, and while my dad was unloading I would sneak off and read sections and likewise freak myself out. I was probably about 10 when I read part of one called 'Slugs' (?) and I can still remember the blurb now "In the knee high grass..." ugh, terrifying!

Love how your belt/cardi echoes your tights/shoes - very fashwan!

ooh he's a cheeky boy and needs a jolly good thrashing for teasing you - eeww dead rats - vomit!! I was too much of a scaredy cat to read such books but I'm actually watching more horror movies these days because they really are such a fascinating genre. The Phoenix showed me Poltergeist and Amytiville Horror which I loved - it's a new kind of thrill and it usually involves much clamping around The Phoenix so everyone's happy! Flower in the hair and flippin' gorgeous shoes - you are a rose among thorns in CC! xoxoxoxo
