It's a green fest!
This frock cost me a whole $5 in January, I think, at my favourite Salvation Army.
Fits like a glove.
Mesh necklace form Kensington Markets in 1989, the other necklace is from the markets in Vientiane.
Shoes from Trade Me and my nailpolish is Pure Turquoise by Barry M, from my beloved Vix and lovingly applied by G.
Dave turned up with some serious supplies.
Lucious Absolut and some nasty concoction he'd picked up from his local bottlestore during their post quake clean up.
Just looking at it, I knew the night was going to end in tears...
We'd been at an asian supermarket on the way home yesterday, and found these nasty Korean concoctions for $2 each.....of course we had to buy them!!!
Dave also bought cranberry juice and lemonade.....we had tonic, Kahlua and orange juice.
The stage was set.
I decided I wanted to try my hand at some sushi cones-they don't look much, but they tasted great!
My udon miso tofu vege soup!
G started off the night with an old Soft Cell album....I hadn't heard it in so long it took me a minute to recognise Marc Almonds dulcet tones!
Lots of 80's classics followed.....
Dancing with myself
Hahaha, you can see the shrunken curtains on the left.
G thoughtfully washed them at the end of last Winter (we change to voiles in Summer) and the bloody things shrunk. So annoyed.
Don't look at the carpet. It's old as the hills, stained form many boozey dancey dining nights......when we do our renovations, we are going to get leopard print carpet!!!
Assuming you can get it in this backwater!
And then it was all over.
There was a gratuitious panty shot, but I'm sparing you that.
I have had the hangover from hell today, I haven't even got dressed.
I have to try and get myself together for some recording tonight....are you frigging kidding me?!
I just want to crawl back under my rock.
