How we spent G Day!

None of were suffering after Saturday night, so after a languid morning with bagels/smked salmon/cream cheese, copious bubbly and pressie receiving on G's part, we decied to go off for a boozy lunch.
Ralph's friend, Maria, ended up staying after the party, and she drives this incredible 1972 Buick Riviera (I think) pimp mobile!!!
She thoughtfully stayed sober so we could go for a ride!
Of course I was gonna pose classily by it!

I just couldn't seem to stay upright, however.
This odd frock was 10 cents.
It's early 80's, and I'm not too sure about it.
I figured that Desiree-ing it up would help.
Headpiece-from sweetheart Vanessa
Stole-Trade Me
Shoes-Trade Me
Sunglasses-vintage Orotons-from the fantabulous Sarah
And off we went to lunch at the Speights Ale House on Bealey Ave.
Left hand drive!
Look at that fabulous genuine imitation woodgrain!
I like it!
Bag love!
G found this in a 20 cent box at an obscure opshop a few years back.
It just needed the strap re-stitched onto the bag, and voila!
Aztec tooled leather delight!
Mi chimichanga!
It all became too much.
Even our neighbour and his mate had their pimp mobiles out!

And so concludes G's birthday weekend!

OMG The pics of youlaid out on the lawn are hilarious!
You look to be overwhelmed with delight over the car ride, chimichangas & G.
Even sprawled on the lawn you are a hot mess Helga.
As for the stole... at least you had a critter to snuggle with. ;) hhehehe

Classic Helga posing - love it!
You Desiree'd the frock up perfectly (and it displays the magnificent booboids extremely well), those shoes are gorgeous, and I am thrilled to see that you have taken your love of matchy match to the point of co-ordinating your headpiece with Ralph's hair. Nice work.
(Btw, in the pic of him about to eat his lunch, Ralph looks about 10 and rather cute. You might want to pass that on!)
So the G-Man's weekend of delights is over for another year, but the lucky boy gets to have YOU all year round!
