It was a "wear pink for booboid cancer" day at work.
I was confident I could find a pinkalicious outfit to dazzle my co-workers with...
And dazzle them I did.
I'm always up for displaying my pink bits, all in the best possible taste, of course!
Frock-Repetory Theatre sale
Handbag-from the chutzpah laden Sarah (I just booked bargainacious tickets for G and I to go visit her at the beginning of February!!!)
Little hat-an Asian store up the road
Earrings-some chain store sale
Pink flowery ring from a darling reader!
After work I had a few errands to do, and I popped into a favourite opshop where I found 2 frocks for a tenner!
This crimplene stunner is one of them:
Gratuitious booboid shot!
I know y'all love live for these.
And I found this quirky raffia bag at another opshop. The brown wooden bit is pretty blah; I think I'll paint that!
Then I was off to visit our friend Jo in Lyttleton, so of course I had to have a costume change, and what better than to wear my other new frock?!
It's an 80's dream, with such a splendid full skirt and fabulously sparkley fabric!
The fabric reminds me of a very ripped 40's frock I once had. (And wore to shreds, literally.)
Jo and I spent a very civilised couple of hours having tea and homemade cake whilst conversing in a polite, adult manner.
Considering the last time we spoke we were both plastered and slurring, (well, Jo was slurring) it's a fine achievement!
I wore my new frock with:
60's lurex cardi-opshopped
Tights-from my beloved Vix
Hairbow-Asian shop in Riccarton
Plus 60's earrings, opshopped, which I've gone and bloody lost a butterfly off since getting home dammit, and 60's beads, also opshopped.
Why o why do I seem to have roots in perpetual need of doing?!
Give us a kiss!
No tongue, though, thanks.
I'm having a quiet night in on my own; G is out with his brothers, and when I spoke to him at about 4:30 pm, he was well pissed already......I'll see him tomorrow!
I am going to watch Desperately Seeking Susan now, and then hop into bed with the cats for an early night.....I am ridiculously excited about it!
What are you gorgeous bimbos up to?!
