Bubbles, isn't it?

I had a night out with our mate Jo last night.
We went out for a little dinner, with a bottle of bubbly, and then trotted over to the polytechnic campus to see the gorgeously fabulous Delaney Davidson (I have a little crush on him!) and HDU play.
It was rather splendid to go out to live music, haven't done a lot of that in recent times.
I wore:
Frock-60's wiggle frock, $5 from my fave opshop as it needed repairs
Coat-the one I opshopped on Friday, from the same opshop
Handbag-60's, gift from Justine
Tights-the palest pinky coral, Sarah
Headpiece-also from Sarah
Shoes-retail
Earrings-Vanessa
Necklace-Two Squirrels
We had a jolly splendid evening and today I am a little worse for wear.
Still humping furniture and boxes!
I bumped into a friend at the gig whom I haven't seem in a while, and she is living in her garage, as her house is going to have to be demolished!
What was I just saying about perspective?!
My room is mostly in the garage now, and we have been working on the dining room today....
I haven't been visiting your lovely blogs, I'm sorry!
I'm not ignoring you, I just need to be getting this shit done with G!
O, and we bought new carpet yesterday!
Seems like a good idea to get the house re-carpeted whilst it's empty, and it looks like we'll also get our own builder in and remove the wall between my room and the dining room to boot!
It's all go, my darlings!
I'll try and catch up with you all during the week!
Y'all know you give me the horn!
X

Mmmm, the colour of that frock is fab!! You look so good in red and I can't believe how lovely and long your pony tail is! I want my long hair back :( Some bitchy hair dresser chopped it to my collarbone a couple of months ago and I should never have let her do it! It was super split, but so lovely and long...Sounds like you had a great evening and good on you for putting up with compromised living arrangements for so long! How are the kitties?!! Xxx

Great dress, I would probably be living in the same ratty jeans and jumper if builders were anywhere near my home - so I applaud you. And your hair is amazing!

Loving the dress you're looking very Joan Holloway smoking! Might as well do some big changes whilst everything is empty! x

Love the red dress - the material looks really awesome and textured. I think its a good idea to get the carpet done now, and to think about moving walls. If your blog is anything to go by you have an amazing attitude and confidence and a great group of friends and followers, so you don't need to apologise for being busy with your house, I can't imagine how stressful the quake has been. We are planning renovations at home and its bad enough without a natural disaster screwing things up. Keep calm and have another drinky??!!
