Chic Admiration

Sunday I had a couple of errands to do, plus I wanted to pop into the Shabby Chic market for a nosy, as I missed the last one.
Thank goodness for this light silk frock; it was a scorcher of a day!
I'm in my old sewing/dressing room, which is hopefully soon to be the loungeroom!
Isn't this orange splendid!?
I think it's bright enough.
I was fondled by a lovely old dear on my way into the market, accosted by another old dear further in, and finally ravaged by a groovy not so old dear with fabulous glittery green eyeshadow, an eye popping lime green frock and delightful pink flower in her hair!
We exclaimed over each other for a bit, then I bought myself a lovely necklace and a thingy-but I forgot to take a pic....shall show you later.....yeah, later.

I'm frigging crazy for this hat!!!
I'm really enjoying hats in general!
Does anyone remember me saying ages ago that I don't do hats?!
What a dork!!!
I have been seduced by the dark side of the hattery!
I think they make me look classy.
Which happens to be my middle name.
Ho ho ho!
And not in a Santa way.

You seriously suit hats, that one is an absolute corker. and dont orange and pink go geat together, I might be able to learn to stand orange if it's always accompanied by that particular shade of pink.
Your beautiful as a butterfly as always x

You are a burst of bright sunshine on this rainy/sleety day! Look how fabulous you are!
Loving the hat (of course you do hats, you crazy woman, you were BORN to do hats) and the frock and the bag and the shoes and what you've done with your hair and the orange wall and the necklace.
(It might have been easier to say what I don't love. Cos there's nothing! No wonder you got fondled! xxxxxx)

That hat looks brilliant on you, my darling, worn to perfection and made even better by the addition of a step ladder and a acid wall.

Show us yer necklace!
Love ya

BTW, that bag should be in my photo shoot. Luckily I have scored a selection of vintage bag patterns and intend to make some/one over the summer. I must show you my orange hat purchased in Oamaru... hope you are having a good week!
