The Baby Eating Bishop of Bath and Wells has nothing to do with this post

We went out for a family lunch today at a Chinese restaurant.
Quite the civilised thing to do on a Sunday afternoon!

These are my fabulous new 70's sunglasses I got whilst we were in Australia!
So glamourous!

Frock-70's, opshopped
Coat-60's, Rangoon Musical Society sale
Belt-opshopped in Australia
Fishnets-not sure!
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag-60's, opshopped
Earrings-birthday gift from The Stylist
Necklace-gorgeous Krista

Behind us is The Theosophy Society building, which appears to be munted from the earthquakes.
Poo! It's got a Georgian flavour that I quite like.
O well.

G is wearing:
Jacket-gift from Sarah
Top-60's, opshopped
Sex appeal-all his own!

G has been working like demon spawn in the band room, ripping out all the lathe and plaster in a rather manly fashion!
It's a big job!
The intention is to make this room as sound proof as possible.
Of course I had to prance around in there a bit before we went out!

We rolled home feeling rather stuffed and then prostrated ourselves on the couch with the cats to watch Blackadder repeats.
Generally I find Chinese food rather appalling in Christchurch, but this is the second Chinese restaurant we've been to in the last year or so that has been really good.
Things are looking up!

"He christens babies in the morning then eats them in the vestry for breakfast" - hahaha!!!!!!!!! Oooh I do love the horrid, slobbering ole' Bish - "poisoned by god!!" "No, by Baldrick actually but the effect is much the same". STOP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love how you put wicked ideas, songs, lines from tv shows, in my head then I spend all day ranting like a lunatic and everyone thinks I gone mad, mad I say!! And I am going completely gaga for all the insane green touches ("My lord we have discovered the secret to turning base objects into gold!" "Percy, it's GREEN.") There I go again, it's the fecktaculous green sunnies with The Stylist's earrings and tights - you are doing it for me today baby!!! Ooooh I do like a bit of manly banging and wrenching around the house ... ooh err!!!!! xoxoxo

Those glasses are rather amazing. Nothing makes a girl feel more glamourous than sunglasses that are half the size of her head. I'm not usually a fan of pink but you make it look fabulous. I like G's orange sneakers.

Oh you look like a delicious sundae of a woman in your pink and pistachio combination - genius! And those sunnies are wondrous.
How nice to have a manly man sweating and heaving about the place, all in the name of home improvements - well done G! Do you think he's channelling Vanessa's Warren at the minute, with his new(ish) facial hair? Looking mighty fine!
The baby-eating Bishop of Bath and Wells makes regular appearances in our conversations too, much to the mystification of the kids. They'll learn! xxxxxx

The purse is perfect with this dress and the color of the out of this world. G. is looking stylish, like something out of Braveheart, in spite of all that nasty construction work.
