What's sun got to do with it?

Frock (70's) and tights-Sarah !
Hair flower-gift from Justine
Vintage Trent Nathan Scarf-Sue !
Scarf ring-60's, opshopped
Boots-Trade Me

And so we're back to the usual programme.....

Darling wee Ada gave me this gorgeous kitty ring!
It was such a pleasure and a thrill to meet that little poppet, the most scrumptious and perfectly pocket poppable sweetie I have ever met!
I'm madly in love with you, doll face!

It would appear that the Summer sun has abandoned us in favour of rain, rain and more rain!
I blame Australia!
It started pissing down in a most unseemly fashion on our last night at Sarah's , causing flash floods and threatening to stop us from getting to Sydney to catch our flight home!
Now it's moved across the Tasman....
G and I have experienced the most insane phenomena over the last year and a half!
From earthquakes to floods ( we would have lost our Kombi had we waited for the signal to leave our campsite over Christmas 2010 ) to cyclones (2 whilst we were on that cruise last January!) to blizzards ( 2 last Winter! ), more earthquakes ( 4 bigguns in total, dozens of large aftershocks and thousands of smaller aftershocks! ) to more floods.....it's a  little paranoia inducing!
Thank goodness there's no live vocanoes around here......or am I tempting fate?!
X

PS-migraine all gone now, thanks to your sweetness!

Raining up here too! Boo!!

I love the colour of that frock on you and it looks ever so fab with that scarf:)

So glad you are fighting fit again and entertaining your avid followers!! Raining up here but warm, so kind of like monsoon!! One thing we cannot control is the weather, so we just have to deal with it. I dealt with it by driving out to the beach (Raglan) this afternoon. Beaches are great in any weather, especially when they have SHOPS!!!!

Nice to see you back fighting fit! You have experienced some extreme stuff this last 18 months haven't you, freaky!

Funny how the wild weather seems to follow you around! I love that scarf and the hint of those stripey tights. xx

Umm isn't the whole of Lyttelton Harbor one big dormant volcano or is it extinct :0)

I'm a little obsessed with freak weather conditions, so on the one hand I'd love to see things like tornadoes and suchlike, on the other hand I'm pretty grateful that the UK has fairly mediocre weather all year round. Glad you didn't lose your Kombi though. Xx

Blame Australia? Sounds more like a case of *clears throat* Blame Helga, to me. It followed you, lady. Must like you.

Dress is a fab colour, only made more fab by the scarf.

Pats to the fur babes.

New Zealand is a dangerous place to live, that's not even considering the Orks. We have mini versions of your earthquakes and cyclones here, but we're pretty good at rain and blizzards. Hope the sky takes a hint from your lovely dress and clears up

Oh darling, I am SO SORRY to hear you've been in agony with a migraine - how uncivilised! I've been incognito in Canberra, eating cheesecake and hugging babies.

Anyway... you look SMASHING - I love the scarf detail and the fab hair flower and tights - you look BEAUTIFUL!

And as we know, you and G are FORCES OF NATURE!

Love and miss you truly, madly, deeply! Sarah xxx

I think we're TOTALLY due for a BlueBird Spring... lovely, peaceful, calm, sunny, warm, glorious weather to relax and enjoy! We haven't had the crazy extreme weather you all have been having, but it's been weird just the same.

I love this outfit! You look so smart! and I love the peek of the striped stockings underneath your skirt (oooo-er!) Glad you're feeling better and hope the rain abates.

I think the whole world has gone mad with its weather conditions and seasons changing. But you have had the worst ever. Here's hoping it all settles down soon for you. Looking lovely as always. dee xx

Insane phenomena indeed. That would be a good name for a band or an album.
You look like a sexy, slightly strict but rather naughty receptionist or the head of a 1970s typing pool! I think you know I mean that in a good way! Gorgeous blue, lovely rings (especially the little kitty) and always love those tights! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Curtise has just said what I was thinking, you look like a naughty receptionist from a 1970s sitcom, fab frock and scarf, darling!!!
The weather is bizarre to say the least. You've certainly had some eventful stuff. Here it's just too bloody cold for words but at least I'm down to leopard leggings under my maxis rather than thermal long jons and stripey knee socks.
LOVE YOU!!!

Good lord, someone should be harnessing that power somehow - we could be getting electricity from your presence. Whatever next though - a plague of locusts? It's all sounding a bit Biblical!

I bet you're happy to see the little fur-balls! I'd be freaking out if I lived near you, the weather seems so hectic! I would love to witness a tornado, I find them so exciting and fascinating.. Twister is one of my favourite films!

Here's hoping you don't experience any more strange weather for a while! xx

Ugh rain. I hate it when weather gets scary- been caught in blizzards and high winds before. Yeuch, especially with pets in the equation. Glad you're all OK!

Love that dress and scarf combo. I might steal the style for work, foxy but businesslike, ace.

Lovely little blue dress Helga.
It looks especially nice with the stripes and polka dots.

All your rings are great but that kitty one is quite cute.
