Candy for Big Cats

I am channelling some super pink powers....trying to hold onto Summer as long as possible....but Autumn is too strong and is closing in!

Telephone for Sarah !

Can't fight nature.
60's frock and sunglasses- foresty frock frolicer Sarah
Boots-Trade Me
Silver necklace-Vientiane market
Silver hand earrings-San Cristobel de las Casas
Pink necklace-darling Max
You can't keep a good pair down!

These things lying around my feet are dead leaves from the cabbage tree you can just see behind me.
Cabbage trees are a New Zealand native, and are in fact used in Brighton (UK) as a faux palm tree!
They are quite messy when they shed leaves, but G and I love them, and have several.
The pookies love them too; they are perfect for claw sharpening!

Our garden is actually in a bit of a state, but whatever!
Renovations currently take centre stage; the garden can wait!
Speaking of renovations, we were hoping to get away to Kaikoura for a couple of nights over Easter, but with the second (and final ) stage of the carpet installation happeing on the 16th, G has far too much to get done to make that possible, so we'll be home for Easter....which isn't so bad.
I anticipate lots of pookie snuggling, boozing stuffing my face and watching G be manly.
It gives me shivers just thinking about it!

I have just noticed how similar that frock is to the pink beauty you gave me! GLORIOUS!!! I adore you in pink (and orange, green, red, blue, purple, burgundy, black, lace, stripes, polka dots, paisley, floral anf fishnets) and I love the leopard tights with pink - can't wait to try it myself. As you know, I am not much of a gardener - though my pot plants are going gangbusters - I do like the lovely prehistoric look of those cabbage trees.

Love you more than all the pink frocks, Sarah xxx

Loving you in pink, well...loving you in all colours.

You are just an amazing stylist, I think you should continue to keep shaming Fall from taking over!! That way it will stay spring longer over here in USA and we will put off the sweltering summer heat. Summer heat is not my hair's best friend. May I request a beautiful stunning RED OUTFIT??? I have not seen you as a lady in red for a while and I am starting to whine about it xoxox

I love your dress! so deliciously pink! Ooh I didn't realise those were fake palms, I bet they use them elsewhere over here too. Your boots are amazing too! xxx

You and G are so cute.
Well, being a garden nut, I very much appreciated the tidbit on the palm-esque tree. Also, is there truly a girl alive who doesn't LOVE pink--even if she won't admit it??? I love pink. That dress looked fantastic on you.

You look absolutely delicious in that frock! The fit is GLORIOUS. Lusting after your leopard tights. I happened upon this fab kitty print the other day:

Sarah said you'd go nuts for 'em! :)

You are stunning!!!

Shazam!! (Did you ever see that superpower cartoon?) Helga, you are a force of nature stronger than the force of nature, and your pink power will surely dominate those evil forces of winter. How could they not? Your pink power outfit is perfect for the job! I'm loving your pink necklace.

ooh, very pretty in pink - such an adorable dress and it looks so good on you

I do not own this candy shade of pink, but I want to now. With summer fast approaching, I should get on the case ASAP. The tights stop you looking too virtuous, pink does make me feel like I'm trying to mask my inner bitch with prettiness. You and Krista prove that aint always so ;)

We have flowers popping up here in amongst dead fallen leaves. I suppose we need to rake those all up and get rid of them to "SPING-E-FY" our yard.
Soon you will be prancing around in fur while I am just trying to keep cool in the air conditioning.

You look pink a luscious Helga.

Gorgeous girlie pink, rocked up with the boots and leopard print tights in true Helga style.

Miss Sarah has a great eye for what suits you. Have never heard of cabbage trees before and there for a bit, I feared that huge cabbages fell to the ground...Your Easter at home sounds quite nice.

Pink and pookies two things I love! The cabbage trees sound great and kitties do need to scratch don't they. Ours scale the beam out back on the deck, sharp claws for sure. Enjoy your chilled out Easter!
