An evening In Waikuku

I just love this light....
We had just driven into Waikuku, where our new drummer lives.
It's a little bit North of Christchurch.

I'm very bloody knackered after a good nights band practice, followed by a beach romp this morning!
(We stayed the night; no way was either of us going to be sober enough to drive!)

Frock-opshopped
Belt-opshopped
Shoes-lovely Alex
Handbag-60's, from Junk and Disorderly, an earthquake casualty
Turquoise beads-Goa lazing Vix
Silver chain mail necklace-Kensington Markets, I think, in 1992
Earrings-gift from G
50's Sunglasses-splendid Sue
Fuck off bow-made by moi

Your F-off bow is my favourite part of your outfit. I hope you made some lovely birdly sounds out over the tranquil waters to bid a sweet goodnight to the mud-dwellers. Knackered or otherwise, you look beauteous.

Beautiful.

Thanks for your suggestions of what to do in NZ. Everyone is telling us to go to Franz Joseph but you and another New Zealander has told us to go to Fox instead.

We are also going to Arrowtown, they are having a 'vintage' style festival I think while we are there.

Ohhh! Pretty pondy bits! You look gorgeous and kind of sailor girl. Where was your sailor hat, hmm? Beach romp? Did you freeze your nupples (that's how you say it in NZ, right?) off? Hehehe Xxx

You are looking lovely as ever. Love the color of that dress.

And I am falling in love with New Zealand. That spot where you took the photos looks like my neck of the woods-New Hampshire- Vermont USA.

You also have a killer collection of wicker bags, I think I need one in my life :) Here's to sunsets, band practice, and the beauty of nature.

I think this might just be one of my favourite outfits of yours yet! I am utterly in love with your bag. Looks like you had a great time wandering off into the sunset. x

Yes, that light IS gorgeous, and so is that little spot for your photo shoot, and so are YOU!
Lovely blue and red combo, and you know you can't go wrong with an F-O bow!
Beach romp? Now that sounds like fun! Was it a private H-n-G affair, or a full band romp? No wonder you're knackered.
When can we hear some more music, Helga?? xxxxxxxxxxxxx

It is a gorgeous light. Your staying over reminded me of a New Years Eve that DH and I decided to sleep it off in our vehicle before we attempted to drive home. About 4:00 a.m., we were awakened by a couple of officers just checking to see we were still alive!

Helga Von Trollop, I enjoy you fantastic bosom and joi-de-vivre. (I very possibly spelled that French stuff wrong.)

Where the fuck have I BEEN?

You look amazing - I love the late afternoon light too - it's most delightfully romantic and flattering - and this is my favourite silhouette on you darling - showing off your stunning waist and booboids and bare shoulders are a perfect canvas for your gorgeous fiery hair. You are a work of art, my darling.

Love you more than red shoes, Sarah xxx
