Minty Clouds

G and I went out to a wine class of Jo's last night....but I haven't had a chance to load the pix yet!
It was most excellent; she has totally won G and I over to Spanish wine!
We were also treated to a gorgeous Portuguese sherry!
Previous thought to be the darling of the Mrs Slocombe-eque set, I reckon sherry-good sherry- is now wlecome in our liquor cabinet!

Anyway, I love the murky sky in these pix.
Frock-darling Curtise
Boots-retail (sale, years ago!)
Earrings-sweet Vanessa

Speaking of whom, if you are a local,  Two Squirrels are having a sale at their nest on the 5th and 6th of May!

So make sure you're there....but not before me!

I picked this 60's scarf ring up in an opshop a few weeks perfectly does it match my frock?!

I was having hair was most vexing.

I passed my forklift licence today, so I am feeling pretty pleased with myself!

Helga, how can you just drop "I passed my forklift licence" into your post without an explanation!!! I am very very curious about why you would need (or want) to drive a forklift. You must be the best dressed forklift driver around. I love the colour on you in this post, it really highlights your hair, which I think looks fab.

watch the fuck out Christchurch she's got a forklift and she's not afraid to use it. Can imagine you in your best frock causing havoc

I love the frock, you look wonderful of course. I also scared by Vanessa's peeping grinning face in the background of the two squirrels pic

Ooh, I had forgotten I sent you that frock, it's such a pretty colour on you! The scarf clip is gorgeous - I picked one up today myself, with a little ballerina on, haven't you got one like that?

Now - sherry. I rather like a dry sherry, it's a real Christmas tipple for me, but there's no reason at all not to drink it all year round, is there? Bottom's up, Mrs Slocombe!
Great photos, fabulous brooding sky, and fork me, she's got her forklift license. A pic of you driving one (while frocked - forked? - up to the nines) would be DELICIOUS! xxxxxxx

I drove a forklift for almost 10 years! I got pretty good at it too. It's pretty fun to show up the guys. I never got a license since I was working for my father.
That mint color is just lovely on you.

I have always wanted a forklift licence! Congratulations! Gorgeous you in that blue dress. I love that last photo - you in your beautiful blue in the wilds. Did you have to stack palettes or drive little curlicues through cones? I hope you sang as you went.

Congratulations on passing your forklift. I adore your earrings but I think this post should've been titled minty busoms lol. Xx

Helga, you look FANTASTIC in that colour! It must look wonderful with your eye colour. Excellent dress. I tried Portuguese port not too long ago, and it was MUCH different from the usual: much boozier.

Like everybody else, I'm dying to hear this forklift story! Career change? I can just see you up there all dolled up like you always are, shifting heavy duty crates or something!
I wish so much that I could make it down to the Two Squirrels sale.

Congrats on passing your forklift test, you must post snaps of you driving it wearing something suitably glamorous, or is it de riguer to wear a poxy hi-viz ?
