Stole 'em from Dorothy

It's time for coats in the evenings.....not yet, though, for scarves, gloves and warm hats....
I love this old vinyl coat to bits.
I scored it in a swap with a former friend, probably over 15 years ago.
I lost a button somewhere along the way, and just can't be arsed worrying about it.
It's excellent on the bike, as the vinyl keep the breeze off my chest.

Necklace-lovely Louise , who happens to be launching her fabulous new vintage shop, BeBopaLouLou any second!!!
Earrings-sweetheart Sue
Belt-from a lovely reader, with diamante buckle from Sue!

The red fishnets were retail, and the sparkley "Dorothy" shoes were an insane $12 steal from Trade Me a year or so ago.
I wish I had them in every colour.

Frock-birthdaylicious Sarah
I think it's 70's.
It fits like a dream, and fulfills my perfect plain red frock search that I had been on for several years.
No shit.
And then Sarah just pops up with it...
Hurrah!

My evening ended up rather blurry; I accidentally went one drink over the edge and gave myself the hangover from hell.
Bleurgh.
I remember the  moment I realised I had passed the point of no return, and I just couldn't get a line from "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" out of my head...."one toke over the edge"....only I was one drink, just one lousy drink over the edge, and shizzer, did I suffer.
O well, I'm all better now, and off to band practice tonight, where I shall not make the same mistake!
X

Oh you look so beautiful (well more beautifuller than ever) those glasses are just fab - where did they come from? Also - glitter on everything - I put edible glitter on the foodstuffs too :)

The turquoise background shows the racy red off to perfection. I do so love a wipe clean coat, ideal for messy sorts like me. The shoes steal the show, they really do. I always do the one drink too many thing, I just can't bear to end the night sometimes. Hangovers are pure torture, but a great excuse to load up on carbs and salt, both do wonders for the mood, that's my theory (and I'm sticking to it).

You look great in red. Your eyes look so blue in pic 5.

I wore a red dress at my wedding. It's my very, very, very fav colour.

My shoe rack I bought from The Reject Shop. It was maybe $50. It is great: the shoes always stay in pairs, I never lose any, the don't get dirty, the pugs don't eat them, the cats don't piss on them and I can see themall simultaneously to make a decision onwhich ones to wear.

DAMN that ONE drink too many... Have been known to make that mistake myself, opening that next bottle then feeling obliged to see it through... Ah, little ol' wine drinkin' me!
Anyway - hope the hangover from hell is a distant memory.
You look splendiferous in red, with your twinkly Dorothy shoes and equally twinkly bright blue eyes! I'm expecting you to take off your specs, shake out your hair, and G will exclaim, "Why Miss Von Trollop - you're gorgeous!" Just a little fantasy of mine, I do apologise...
That frock fits you to perfection, the necklace from Louise is beautiful, and the coat is amazing - especially love the collar and hem.Phoaaarrr!!! xxxxxxx
