All trying to do something no one else has done

I used to always say that I loathe pastels, but time and again I have proven myself to be a jolly big fibber!
But I really didn't think I did......but I eventually realised that I do, in fact, love all colours, whatever the shade!

And I love this minty coloured old house!
(Despite it's ghastly decramastic roof)

I love tan!

And leopard goes with everything!

Pastel and tan...yummy. I do think you can wear all colours, it's the way you wear 'em that rocks it. I'd like a minty house.xxx

Fab colour combo and how clever you are (and sensible!) to matchy-matchy with your background.xx.

That house is so cute - one day I'll live in a real house again. Agreed - animal print works with everything. You're wearing a FAB cape!

It is true, you look good in any colour. In fact you look great in anything. I totally love leopard print, worn tastefully of course.

Well Rosebud Bella calls leopard print the blogger's neutral, so of COURSE it goes with everything!
I love pastel shades on other people (or houses) but I don't think they do much for me when I wear them. But then again it is true that it's all about HOW you wear things.
I love it when you matchy match, especially with your background! Gorgeous print on your used-to-be kaftan, and you can solve mysteries in that excellent cape!
PS. The magical dress you gave me always attracts lots of comment and compliments, you will be pleased to know I always credit you when people ask where I got it from! xxxxxx

Fab cape and I will be following the leopard statement as soon as possible! I love how you have such colourful houses in NZ and Oz, houses here are pretty dull by comparison x

You look fabulous! your legs in those leopard tights are glorious, phwoar!!! Tan is just the best accessory colour ever 'cos it looks old and aged and just gives everything depth and interest. That house is rather lovely!
I'm almost wanting winter (or at least Autumn) to appear so's I can rock my capes, maybe I should stick a bikini underneath them!
Love you! xxxxxx

You look like a movie still. I tried on a beautiful blue pastel print dress on Sunday. It looked like shit on me. Hate when that happens.

Oooh la la! Look at you in that cape! Love it! What a pretty color house! My house has siding, so no fun colors for this gal. I have very little tan in my wardrobe. You make me what to rethink that :) Gorgeous!

I'm rather partial to a tan accessory myself! Your're looking so matchtastic against the minty house and I'm so in awe of your prowess with the Singer. x

I want your legs! Blue leopard print with those shoes? You are a style Miracle Worker, and with that cape I suspect you could fly through the night transforming crappity wardrobe outfits into stunning pieces of Helgalaciousness. What goodies hide in your bag?

I think you could make any colour work Helga, love how you always seem to find the perfect backdrop for your outfits too. I love brightly coloured houses, especially when there's a streetful of them all painted different colours. xx

I always thought I hated beige but no I love it too, I love all colours. I have a special place in my heart for ice cream shades though, perhaps because they remind me of food? I love that you are queen of capes and once again those chi chis are bursting out of that cardi - I love it all. You look so squeezable.

It seriously makes my day whenever this cape makes an appearance. It just suits you so well! I used to think I hated pastels too, and it's not true for me either.

You are a sublime, whimsical, exquisite mythical pastel creature of glory! Love you more than mint weatherboard - and I REALLY love mint weatherboard! Sarah xxx
