At first I was afraid, I was petrified

From drab to fab!
The miracle of a bit of slap!
Yes, indeedy, with the help of a lot of medication and several (ok, more than several, I just don't know what the term is for 6 or 7)) whiskey macs (half and half whiskey and ginger wine) I was able to perform last night.
I wasn't great, but hell, I was there!
Here are some random shots of my night......

The loos at the Wunderbar are tiny, but fabulously decorated with old magazines...

Our lovely friend Amy took the bus out to see us, the sweetheart!

First support act, Dylan Hawes.

This company looks like it was the NZ answer to Horrockses?!
A quick Google yielded no information.
Trust some asshole to go and scrawl on it.

Love your lippie! I love putting on the slap - one of the joys of being a woman. It's so cool you sing in a band!

Love the outfit! You look great and that bathroom is all sorts of awesome! I had liquid courage last weekend when the hubby and I karaoked "I want you to want me." It was fun.

You look great Helga! Good on you for getting up and performing despite feeling shite. Also the bar you performed at looks pretty cool.

Never drabulous - always fabulous, darling!
By the miracle of the whiskey macs and some brilliant slap, you made the gig, well done you!
Bet you were amazing, I don't think you have it in you to be anything else. Looking deliciously minxy, with a twinkle in your eye. G-Star is HOT stuff!
Need you to be sharing some more music with us please.
LOVE! xxxxxxxxxx

I am glad you were able to preform.
I hope you are starting to feel better. You look rather marvelous even if you were feeling lousy!!!

The show must go on! I would have loved to have been there, screaming up a blurry-slurry storm for you and hot Mr. G. Did the rush of the stage cure you or send you back to the recovery room? I hope you are feeling better at any rate. When I do pretend music I often think of you doing the real thing!

One would never know you weren't feeling on top of your game. And I wonder if I could have you do my make-up, if I would wear it more.

There you are with your fancy mic! I've been waiting a looong time to see you perform and here it finally is! The volume isn't working on my computer though, damn. Can't hear a thing.
You have the voice of an angel in my mind though. To go with your soulful face.

I didn't even know you performed! How delightful! I went karaoke-ing with no voice last weekend. I attempted a few husky numbers and, frankly, waiting to hear what was going to come out of my mouth line to line was suspense filled then HEARING what emerged was, in equal measure, painful and hilarious!

And, by the by, you definitely don't look drab sans slap!

The clothes in that advert are amazing (especially the dress) - I hope you find one one day!

You definitely gave that hideously cold the finger didn't you! You look so damn cool up there on stage with G-star and the rest of the band. Perhaps I would have felt better this weekend if I would have had to perform on stage, as it was, I stayed in bed...
