Here I am I'm a dotted line, cut the corners stick me to your door

I'm missing my star photographer.
Having finally found my little gorilla pod, I figured I can get back into taking my own pix when G Star isn't around..........but o, how dull it is!
Not to mention the print on this weet little frock is all washed out.
You can see it in a close up further down, at least!

Frock and shoes- a sexy Ellie May lookalike!
70's coat-opshopped
60's vanity case-opshopped
Hairbow-Japantown, San Francisco
Stripey scarf-I can't remember, but one of you darlings sent it to me!
60's scarf ring-opshopped
Earrings-the sweetest Squirrel !

I can't wait to be stalked again by my own paparazzi!
I can't be arsed playing alone!

Tonight, Nix and I are going to this!
It's a girls night out, and we plan to frock up fabulously and have a grand old time.
Here is an article about the event.
After, we may go on down to The Darkroom ......
Thank goodness for nana naps.

You deserve your own paparazzi with such star quality! But you have done a good job of this yourself. I love turquoise and mauve together. And I'm glad you got a closeup of the pattern and colours on the dress. I hope you and your gang burst into song in the The Darkroom and started dancing on tables!

How cool - a Friday Frock event! That looks just the thing for you.. I wonder what era you will choose..I would be there with several bells on if I were down there!
Turqoise + purple = terrific!

Funny thing, that - I do my own photos and much prefer it, I can take as many as I like without anyone huffing at me and rolling their eyes.... But then maybe your Gorgeous G doesn't huff or eye roll, and is all sexy and "yeah baby give it to me", a la David Hemmings in Blow Up! There's an image!
Where is your own personal photographer anyway? How dare he leave you lonesome?!
Still, you look as gorgeous as ever, the colours are divine, the shoes are bad ass, and the vanity case is a beaut.
Hope you and Nix have much fun dressing up for your night out - take pics please! xxxxxxx

I love the colour combo, especially those shoes, that bag & that coat! I'm afraid I need a photographer too. When I do self timer shots I always come out with too many chins! I hope you have a ball tonight. Xx

What a gorgeous colour combination!

Fiona said...

It's a pain taking my own snaps as I don't have one of those lead thingies and have to keep running back to the camera to set the self timer. On the other hand it's less embarrassing than posing for someone else, I find. You obviously don't have any such inhibitions as you positively ooze with confidence in front of the lens. Fabulous vibrant colours today and your frock show sounds like a top night out. Please take your camera. x

Well, whether it's G star, or the Gorillapod, one thing always remains and that is that you look fabulous. I'm obsessed with purple so I could drool over this outfit all day, and even with the gorillapod, the photographs have still turned out fab. xx

Dearest Helga,
As with most tedious things in life having to do them yourself SUCKS, it's so much better having a "personal assistant" doing it all for you. Having a helper doing the snapping saves a lot of time too cause they can tell if your Angelina Jolie pout attempt looks more like a gurn or if your hair has blown over to one side making you look like Gregor Fisher's Baldy Man character (or maybe that only ever happens to me). Nevertheless I think you've done a sterling solo job and that you look fabfeckingtastico as ever! Amazing colour combo.
Lot's of love,

You've done a splendid job on your ownsome darling! I'd hate to fly solo, too. The ones I took alone missed a certain something!
The turquoise and purple combo is utterly fabulous and those shoes are gorgeous. Your hair looks even more regal than ever, too!
Have a blast at the show.
Love you! xxxxx

You look splendidly fantastic in royal purple and turquoise!! I adore those shoes!!!

As my outfit pix are taken before work at 5:30am, I am thankful for my thrifted tripod. I'd be doomed if I had to rely on the hubster as he's stumbling around in Zombie-mode.

The show looks FABULOUS but I am sure you in your frock-a-licious glory will outshine any wench strutting on the catwalkk!!

Have fun!!

Looks like it's still winter but who cares! U look fabulous in any weather. May have to pull up your winter looks when winter comes here for some inspiration. Love the vanity case. I have one that was my grandma's. Still smells like her.

The aqua and purple is just gorgeous doesn't even matter that the print on the dress is washed out. Have fun tonight.

I can totally relate to this post. It feels weird when I don't have someone taking my photo and I always end up with a dull/serious/tired expression rather than smiling as I should!
Lovely colours as always, I love the vanity case style bag, it's beauuuutiful!
