Leave your yens on the counter please

Same park, a little further down, a much better light today!

Some blokes honked their horn at us as they drove by......
How rude!
I thrust in your general direction!

60's coat-opshopped
60's frock-a Shabby Chic Market ( I think they start up again in September?!)
80's tastic cardigan-opshopped
Tights-darling Sarita
60's beads and 60's necklace-opshopped
Strawberry earrings-retail

Label sluttery!
My cardigan, above, and my coat, below.

I came home to a parcel of joy from my wonderful new blog friend, Tamera !
Spectacular 60's jewellery, which I'm damn well going to wear tomorrow, a stunning handmade card and the softest, sweetest rather vintage cocktail handbag!
But that's not all........

There was also a piece of shockingly vulgartastic fabric!!!
I'm going to think long and hard (oooer, missus!) about what I shall do with this!!

Thank you, gorgeous!!!

Those boots? That bag? Oooo. I should think those boots "match any weather" too. You are a flower growing amongst all those naked trees jealous of your colourful splendour. Very gorgeous.

You are a ray of sunshine in the NZ winterness. LOVE those boots and how funny is the label in your coat? Need one like that here in the UK. Do let us know what you do with six-pack Santa!

Tamera's a parcel sending genius! I love the jewellery & bag, the fabric is sheer filth and do I spy a hand-made card, too?

These colour schemes are brilliant. I really love looking at your blog and being reminded that colour is out there for me to embrace.
Your Mexican food posts literally made my mouth water. I am inspired to go rainbow and go Mexican!! xxx

Clearly those guys were honking in admiration!

Fabulous coat. "Matches any weather" is just priceless. We need Bobbie Brooks in the UK.

The orange jewellery is indeed spectacular, what a great gift. And as for the fabric, I'm speechless (and that doesn't happen often!)

I love your response to the honkers Helga, now I know how to behave if I'm ever in such a situation, instead of my usual embarrassed shuffle. Though I'd imagine they're honking because you're probably a local legend in your fab outfits. xx

Forest City Fashionista said...

Love all the rambunctious red in this outfit! Can't wait to see what you do with the hot man-print fabric.

That fabric is ace, I can't wait to see what that ends up being. I love your whole outfit but especially your coat and spectaculars. A man in a van wolf whistled at me today, I was all sweaty and mucky from heavy duty housework, I think he was setting his sights low lol, unlike your horn honker who was just acknowledging your fabuloussness!
