No regrets, just love

I don't mind a bit of graffiti, especially when it's bright, and cheering up a spot of urban blight; in this case where a local church had to be pulled down afer most of it collapsed in the February 2011 earthquake.
It's rare that I can actually read and comprehend text, though.
I'm just not cool.

Do admire the glory of my 60's jewellery; a wonderful pressie from darling Tamera!
Totally hitting the proverbial nail on the head regards my taste!

Speaking of Madame Butterfly's, we popped in there briefly after taking these pix, to find that she has been given notice by the landlord and will be closing down in a month's time!
Fark!
I didn't go in there that often, but it was local, and it was comforting to know that it was just around the corner when I was in need of a fix.......
Melanie, the proprietess, plans to still sell in some small capacity somehow over in Lyttleton, thankfully, once she's got herself sorted out.

Hurrah!

Have a splendid Friday night, darlings!

I love all your long coats Helga, and how you put colours together, even picking matching surroundings. I love that shade of green especially, bought my daughter a cardi that colour in the sales but really I wanted it for myself, if they'd had my size, she was just my proxy. xx

A vision in orange and green. Love the necklace. Sad about the shop closing, these was a charity shop 2 blocks from my house that moved to a bigger space, which was nice for them. Then they opened a "vintage" section and jacked prices up for some sad items. Just because it's from the 1980's doesn't mean it's worth over $20.

Love all the green - it's one of my very favourite colours. I'm wearing green today too!

I love it paired with the orange - you look amazing. I especially like the coat and shoes.

What a shame about your local shop though.

Understanding graffiti is so not an indication of your coolness. Goodness look at your fablolous self. You're rocking as per usual and I'm green for your coat and those über cool sunnies.

You look great! I love the green fascinator and veil.

Growing up in So Cal and having family in L.A., I always saw graffiti. I didn't find the artsy graffiti from back in the day when it actually meant something. A protest or statement. I think modern graffiti sucks. It's just a bunch of lines that make no sense.

You are an urban green goddess! I love that outfit and Tamera's jewellery is fecking fabulous!!! Those shoes are making me squeal with joy!!!
Walsall was the birthplace of bad ass graffiti artist, Goldie so we've got a fair bit of council sponsored cool stuff in town, not that most of the morons appreciate it!
What a shame about Madame Butterfly's!
Love you!
