I haven't been deliberately wearing the old red, white and blue during the Olympics, I just can't seem to help myself!
So, dammit, I'm going to link this outfit to the Ethical Fashion Bloggers Olympic outfit challenge, as red, white and blue are the colours of not only the NZ flag, but almost every other flag in existence!

You may have recognised (I'm assuming you remember everything I have ever worn, devoted fans that you are!) the stripey jacket from a post in January (above), the one and only time I have worn it......it just didn't feel right, and has been languishing in a pile of crap on my sewing/dressing room floor....until the other day, when I was inspired by Elsa Billgren to crop the bloody thing!
It was an epiphany!
I like it so much more now, and it will likely make a more regular appearance!
I love simple transformations!
On another matter, a new reader, Cityscape Skybaby (awesome name!) asked me for some suggestions for what to wear when camping!
I actually love camping, believe it or not, and I pretty much rely on easy fitting 70's frocks and barefeet, as my heels damn well sink into the ground!
That's pretty much it, really, apart from sunglasses and a nice, big hat.
And lots of reading material, booze and nice nibbles, not that you can wear any of these.
Well, I do get food all over me quite often, so I guess that counts?!
I don't think I'm any kind of authority, however, and would recommend checking out what Vix wears to music festivals, as they involve camping, and are often wet!
Thank you for asking, though!
