Something shimmery and white

It's been a weekend of sharing food, talking shit, drinking piss and making noise.
Just the way I like it.
And all in our humble little abode!

Friday night we had our newly engaged friends Gillian and Wayne over for dinner, as well our our lovely friend Dave.
I made fish tacos, trying to recreate one of our holiday meals.......

And featuring homemade refried beans!

I forgot to take off my fabulous gingham apron.
It was protecting my lurid lurex frock!
Lurid lurex crochet bow courtesy of my darling and rather clever  Sarah !

Humpers made himself at home on Wayne's lap after dinner, the slut!

Saturday night was band practice, and I made pad thai for the troops to give us strength.....

O, the ecstasy!

We have our first gig with our new drummer, Jeff, next Friday night.
A casual affair, it's for a work function of Jeff's.
No pressure, hurrah!

Nix was looking bloody hot, sporting a 20's look, which she does so well!
Her necklace is in fact 20's, with bakelite pieces!
Scored from Ophir, a small Central Otago town!

Gratutious booboid shot, not mine for a change!

G and I had watched The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc Sec that afternoon, and I was inspired by her divoon early 1900's attire...

Headpiece-made by moi with fabric scraps and some vintage faux flowers from Sarah

What did you lovelies get up to?!

I love the pink wall/ blue tiles combo in your kitchen. Fish tacos sound divine, I've still never tried pad thai. I must make it my business to try some thai food. Xx

Color, color and more color! You should paint everything a nice boring color, so say all the bitches on the home shows, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!My kitchen will soon be a boring lime green, take that!

So many things to crush on in this post, starting with the colours in your kitchen! Fish tacos are one of my fave mexican foods but you can't get good ones where I live, and I'm a hopeless cook! That lace dress is spectaculous!!

Love the outfits! The second one reminds me of a gypsy fortuneteller. It's awesome. The Lurex is such a great vivid color.

If you ever want some Mexican recipes let me know. My mom taught me plenty of them. :)

Ooh, I am in agreement with Bella - your own cooking show would be fabularse! Cooking Up a Storm the von Trollop Way. A Dollop of von Trollop? So many possibilities, and a different amazing outfit (and apron) every episode!
The fish tacos look delicious, and I adore Thai. I'll be over next weekend, happy to eat anything you fancy cooking, is that OK?
Whoops, so taken up with the food, I forgot the frocks...
Electric blue lurex? Matching bow? Gorgeous! White lace 80stasticness? Spectacular! And a special commendation for Nix's necklace. And your leopard print tights! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
