The devil take your stereo and your record collection

My sooper jabot frock made it's debut last week under my funny little plaid pinafore...
We had started cycling again, as the weather had picked up...until yesterday when we got a nasty reminder that Winter wasn't quite done with us!
There was snow down to low levels, but not enough to score a day off!
We stopped for a a new bottle of whiskey on the way home just in case we got snowed in, as it wasn't looking good!
We had a few anyway as we listened to the rain and sleet pelting against the roof.

This wee lake is usually teeming with quacks!

Frock-80's, from Mission Thrift, San Francisco
Blouse-refashioned 70's frock from fabulous Vix
Jacket-80's, opshopped
Sunglasses-divine Sarah
Earrings-gift from my mate Justine

Now, feast your eyes on my improved jewellery nooky thing!
G put up some hooks for me, after painting them silver, so I could spread out my fabularsehole necklaces a bit more!
And he put in a splendid retro light for me so I can see what I'm looking for!
Thank you, G Force!
I'm engorgingly in love with you!
The tins/boxes on the left hold brooches, clip on earrings, some general gold jewellery, rings and some earrings.....crikey!
The little basket hold random bangles and stuff.....remind me sometime to share in detail!

But that's not all!
I came home to a parcel fo joy from the divoon Curtise !!
Two dazzling 70's frocks, one of which (the one on the left) came by way of Tamera, in a three bears kind of way, incidentally!
(Too small, too big, just right!)

A hilarious card, a fabulous retro NZ hanky, two pairs of 60's clip ons and a scrumptious 60's brooch!!
How frigging spoilt am I?!

Ooh, there is something of the Dandy Highwayman(woman) about you today, with your frilly front! Almost doing a Sharon Stone there too, hope you had your safety pants on, Helga, hahaha!
Love your frock and that little jacket, great colour on you.
G has done GOOD with the jewellery nook. That boy's a keeper! Look at all those pretties... Always room for more though, right?
Very happy that the parcel arrived so quickly. That's the beauty of blogging, a piece of clothing will eventually find the right home, it all goes around in a big circle of lerrvve! xxxxxxx

Always love your blog titles Helga, sometimes they play in my head all day just eluding me but I got it today so I'm a happy bunny. Love your outfit especially those shoes, sigh, I'm jealous of ladies who can wear heels without a second thought. When I wear them I always feel like the tall lady in Deuce Bigelow Male Gigolo. And I love your jewellery nook, I need something just like that! xx

Love,your white bib.

I am engorgingly in love with your fabulous jewellery nook! What treasures you have old and new. I love the cheeky peek of thigh in the third pic down;) As usual, you look irrepressibly well turned out. I would love some sort of Helga beehive tutorial to try and achieve the same level of volumilicious hair fabulousness! xxx

wow, that is some impressive jewellery emporium. It's great to have it all displayed where you can see it though isn't it? Makes you more likely to wear it all. Love the tartan frock and it looks especially good with that jabot. xx

You look fabulous! Like a sexy judge or clerk. Love the new jewelry nook. I'm working on fixing mine up. I have a similar souvenir hanky like your but mines from Louisiana and it qualifies as a scarf.

So titillating in tartan...and did you know your lipstick is 'bang on trend' (as they say these days) according to all the fashion mags I've read lately. Hurrah for G, I do like a man who knows his way around a screwdriver. What a neat nook you have now. Hurrah for Curtise too, she sends the bestest parcels.
