The sort of blue between clouds when the sun comes out

I was tempted to splay my legs in a most unbecoming fashion....but thought better of it.
I did, however have on my saftey pants, as I do most days!
(Especially when I'm cycling)
Gratuitious booboid flashes are all very well, but I'm actually really rather ladylike....

(snort!)

Anyway, I was watching an episode of Man About the House whilst on my cross trainer* and dribbling over some of the fantabulous clothing and SHOES! Chrissie wears the most divine pair of red platforms in the early credits....gah, want!
So inspirational....
I have the first season on DVD. Must get the rest for a regular Mildred fest. She had on the most divine coat last night, and sometimes her frocks make me squee with desire!

* You didn't see that coming, did you?!
Makes for interesting mental imagery, I'm sure.
No, I don't wear heels on it.

You are my playground love!!!
All you are wearing here is an eye candy, that fock is perfect especially the baby blue color and the print!! I've never watched 'Man about the house', but I have to, I really like to watch tv series or films with inspiring costumes, thank you!
Lots of love!!

Is the label on your coat Aubrey Segal? Because I think I have the exact same one that I got from the opshop I work at!

That blue coat is georgeous. I remember watching Man about the House and George and Mildred. Absolute hoots.

Love your face on the slide Helga, you must have a trim bum because I always get a bit stuck on kid's slides, and swings dig right into me, fat arse that I am. Love it too that you watch George and Mildred on your cross trainer, rather than some pumping gym type music. xx

This set of pics made me chuckle, you look like you are having so much fun on that slide! :)

No, I did NOT see that coming, but I'm not at all surprised! You have to keep your hot self in shape somehow through these dreadful winter months. You look divine in this blue dream, darling - a VISION! The coat is absolutely splendid and you know I am always desperate for a flash of safety pants! Love you more than ice cream! Sarah xxx

Ewwwww love all that blue! Gorgeous! And you made me laugh with the snort! Will you ever behave?? :D I feel a bit out of the loop and I want to be in the loop. When you all SQUEE, do you really squee out loud or is it imaginary? I am not sure, and I want to be doing the right thing.

XOXOXOXOXO
Lynn

I love this outfit and you always seem to have the most fun showing us them! I am extremely jealous of your fabulous coat collection - I need to get some bright coats to cheer up the winter days.

Well, there is so much to smile about in this post! You on the slide (literally, not metaphorically), you in scrumptious blue, you almost flashing the SPs, the image of you watching Man About the House on your cross trainer, oh it's all too joyful for words. And I LOVE Lynn's concern about real vs. imaginary Squee-ing. I go for the real thing, loud and proud, don't you? Course you do!
Did you see the clip of Kate singing Symphony in Blue live which I added to my post of the same name as yours? I love it so much, she's so wonderful.
Now I think we need to see what Madam Helga DOES wear on that cross trainer, if it's not heels...! xxxxx

Ha ha ha oh you're so funny! I can't remember the last time I was on a slide, really need to give that a go again sometime. I think that blue coat must be one of my favourites of yours, it is such a stunning colour. Agh I'm so behind on al my blog reading and have SO much to catch up on. Maybe I'll have to make a Sunday afternoon of it.

no one is ever too old for a playground. I want to see you on a see-saw next - that's an order. I lurve your coat, especially it's collar. George and Mildred is being repeated over here, theres some 70-tastic interiors, I thought you'd love Yootha, she was pretty amazing back then xxx

I knew about your cross-trainer secret already, you don't get legs like that from sitting on your arse all day!!! You look so naughty with your legs akimbo like that. Thank goodness for safety pants or the roads of Christchurch would be littered with wrecked cars from drivers slowing down to perv at you on your bike!
Love you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
