But she won't let me use my passion unless it's in a limousine

Just a quickie (ooer, missus!) whilst G is having a breather from his birthday frolics...!
Kaikoura was wonderful; we arrived home yesterday afternoon.
(Pix to come)
I made him breakfast, we drank a bottle of bubbly, I showered him with pressies, took him out for a little look at .Foragers and a spot of lunch....it's been lovely and sunny!

I wore:
Frock-60's, Portland
Jacket-70's/80's, opshopped
Fishnets-retail (these are stockings now due to the hungry growler effect)
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag-60's, opshopped

The chain necklace is from Vix, the pretty pink and green one is one of Krista's creations, and the other is from a Shabby Chic market.

We popped out to a local bar for a few drinkies last night....we didn't plan on being co-ordinated.....
It's been happening a bit lately!!
WTF is going on with us?!
I just know we'll end up tottering around in matching shell suits one of these days.
Could be worse, I suppose.

Like my hair?!
I got some blonde hair in Portland (sounds weird, right?!) and made up a plait.
I'm going for the look in this Diane Arbus pic:

It's to DIE for hair.
I'll keep working on it

Woohoo!
X

Oh sounds like you had a marvellous weekend. Love the first pic you like a delightful mannequin, hah love that you and G accidentely dressed similar, I always point this out that couples tend to dress alike after a few years, that has not happened with me and my man, he's far too normal xxx

I love that blonde hair thingee - it looks rad, I thought maybe you'd dyed a part of your hair blonde and expertly plaited it like that!

I love the colour of the dress, stockings and shoes - so very pretty.

Also I love the sunnies:D

Gorgeous floral frock, loving you in yellow, and your little blonde plait-y thing is beautiful.
Good to see you and G matchy-matching, just shows how in sync you are.
Keep working on the beehive, you're nearly there but it needs to be a smidge higher!

Happy Birthday to G! I'm sure you both had a fabulous time, because you're both so damn fun. Love the colours in your floral dress Helga. The retro cabinet filled with drinkie glasses makes an excellent backdrop.

Sometimes The Man and I are a little matchy matchy by accident, but it's less exciting. Seriously.
