Daddy dear, you know you're still number one

So, Sarah :

Inspired by Melanie :

Threw out a challenge to rock tulle, a teacup, and a step, without slipping into the Abyss of Twee....

I think I've given it a fair shot, despite not owning a teacup!

They both looked farking gorgacious, don't you think?!

Okay, now you've properly loaded... WOW. You take tutus to a whole new level! Big, bold, blue, billowing, barking-madly gorgeous. Your beverage of choice and boots certainly keep the twee at bay. And I love how your self-made hat and mug are matching in their spotted joy. Thank you for this!

So I knew, I just KNEW that if someone was to take up the challenge and do a totally kickass rock and roll version of tulle with a tea cup, it would be YOU! No fear of the twee here, You Rock Chick Majesty!
You look amazing, love the electric blue froth and crazy leopard, and who doesn't like a wee shot from a coffee mug?
I LOVE that us girls just wanna have fun together! xxxxxx

Until recent things such as pinterest-mania, tuille and old china often meant more 'gothic' than twee.

Love that you're reclaiming it!!!!

Great challenge girls, everyone added her own vision and it's super fun-tastic!! I really can't pick up a winner, but well..this blue new wave goddess is in my heart now! It's like Siouxie meeting Nina Hagen meeting Helga and my eyes are full of sparkles!! Everything is perfect, from the "proper" use of the cup to the hand made hat! I love the boots and the Holy Mary necklace so much too!

LOVE IT. FREAKING LOVE IT. I was just visiting Clare's blog, and saw a preview of the festival of tulle you ladies were enjoying. Damn, but I do not have a tulle skirt! I don't think...no. Definitely don't.

Loved your NAUGHTY take on it. Twee? Never.

Jean at www.drossintogold.com said...

You rock, period. No more to say. Blue never looked so good and your beverage of choice is perfect.

Gorgeous again! Love all these tutu's you're all stylin' up. The blue really knocks it up a funky step. Amazing necklace too.

You all have me craving tulle ...though not tea!

CityScape Skybaby said...

Well you definitely passed the no tweeness allowed bit Helga and you look absolutely amazing. And it made me happy to hear that you don't have any tea cups because neither do I, if I drank tea from a tea cup it would need to have a feeding tube attached because I like my tea by the bucketful. xx
