How can I live in your world of strawberry flowers and colourful hours...

I've spent a good part of my afternoon asleep on the couch!
It's all rock n' roll around here, I can tell you!
It's been an uneventful friday, apart from a visit to a home show where all manner of delightful things for one's home are to be found....how very mature we felt, going along!
I saw this awesome car outside:

How low is too low?!
Not low enough, perhaps!
Very sleek; doesn't the jet black show off that chrome beautifully?!
I suspect I'd look rather fabularse being chaffeured about in this....

Anyway.
It's been a bit cool today, and the weather is supposed to turn to custard over the weekend....
As long as it doesn't interfere with our getting to Lyttleton for our mate Jo's annual champagne party tomorrow night, I don't mind!

Frock-made by moi out of a retro sheet and a 50's pattern from Vix
Coat-50's, opshopped
Cardi-can't remember at this moment
Jacket-a crimplene dream, opshopped and shortened by moi
Tights-Trade Me
60's vanity case as handbag, opshopped
Shoes-retail sale a few years back; I'd forgotten I had them until this morning! Hurrah!
Necklaces from the gorgeous Vix  , Krista and a Shabby Chic market
Earrings-a market
Sunglasses-Etsy
Headpiece, made by moi with some vintage flowers from Sarah and scraps, and inspired by a 60's one she sent me a while back!

Have wonderful weekends, darlings!

Two coats?! Were you not boiling to death in them? The red one looks amazing snuggly warm.

Flowers and spots and checks and pink and claret! Hair pieces and vanity cases and pink sunnies!
These are a few of my favourite things, don't you look amazing?

Yes, you would look just perfect in the back of that car - a little bit regal, but then I fear it would descend into naughtiness and legs-out-of-the-window tomfoolery...

Jo's champagne party sounds just fabulous, I am sure you will wear something orgasmically beautiful for the occasion! I remember the amazing photos of you from last year, and I am sure you will look even better this year. No pressure!
Love you like a glass of bubbly! xxxxx

I love it! You have amazing style. I love this bed-sheet dress and ditto to many of the comment above I would love to get a closer look at your head band.

Enjoy the champagne I hope it's quality!

My eyes are all be-googly with this gorgeous ensemble. Too bad we didn't get a shot of you sprawled very vampishly all over the hood of that car with your true love at the wheel - and then one of the frantic car owner in chase. The home and design show is in town here too, I shall go and attempt to blend in with the decor.

My Friday has been equally uneventful-except that the book turned up, SQUEEE!!! The bookmark is my fave thing, I actually laughed out aloud while alone in the house!! And VB is clapping along to the CD in the car already, woo hoo!

How ever do you find time to sew and be a rock star at the same time? The dress is gorgeous again and I really love the photo of the tights and t strap shoe. There's something so scrumptious about it!
Is that necklace all one piece? Love that too, jeez, I love it all and I can totally see you in that car. But not with your man driving it. The two of you would be in back doing naughty things on your way to Lyttleton. And in those cars there's plenty of room!

Loving all the patterns and colors. You must have a ton of tights and jewelry.

I love this frock mama but it's all your accessories that always leave me feeling plain. I gotta get more creative with my accessories!

I love low riders. When I was in high school my step sister dated a guy with a big ass LTD. When he would pick me up from school I would have him make it jump, yeah it was pretty bad ass!

Have fun drinking champagne.

Hi Helga, thanks for dropping by ShowTellShare, Jackie is amazing.

I I could be so bold as to recommend another site: I can see you are an amazing seamstress so I thought you might be interested in the Tailors Apprentice. Lorna has developed patterns for the 21st Century woman based on original patterns from a local jobbing seamstress from the period. She has most done 1940s but plans to go into the 50s too.
