We act with reason and heart

G and I had a date night on Saturday, and went to see The Burlesque Assassins, a most amusing, cheesey, sexy, spy romp that Russ Meyer would have been proud to call his own!
In addition to the film, we were treated to performances by local burlesque/cabaret troup Ayla's Angels and the star of the film, the gorgeously fabulARSE Roxi D'Lite!

I was admittedly a little distracted by Johnny before we went in.........
(Schwing!)
What's with the bird on his head?! Brillant!

This is the divoon Ms Daisy du Belle, one of the delicious gals in Ayla's Angels, a total hottie and fecking sweetie!
If you get a chance to see the film, do, it was bloody gloriARSE!

I wore:
Frock-60's, Etsy
Caot-60's/70's-Camberwell Market
Tights-retail
Shoes-Trade Me
Earrings-from the sweetest Squirrel
Gold beads-60's, opshopped
Handbag-60's, opshopped
Locket-a market
Gold gloves-opshopped
Star headpiece-made it myself

What a splendid gold ensemble, I'm loving those beads. I was reading about Johnny in that film yesterday, he's Tonto apparently and is part native American himself. Wouldn't fancy having a dead crow on my bonce, would you ?

Fabulous as always, sounds like the film was good fun and you certainly don't get a burlesque performance on an average cinema trip! Is it just me does Jonny look like a land-based version of Captain Jack?!

Oooh, bestest Date night outfit ever! How could a film titled "Burlesque Assassins" be anything but fabulous? I somehow doubt it will play anywhere around here. I love Mr. Depp and will likely go to see the Lone Ranger just to watch him with a dead bird on his head.

Man do I ever love your coat! It goes wonderful with your sparkley bits. =O
*heheh* Uh-oh G has got some competition I see. Maybe someone will have to get him a plastic bird for Christmas so he can wear one on his head too. *lol*

If you go and watch the Daniel Day-Lewis version of "Last of the Mohicans", take a close look at the Native guy who played DDL's brother..I can tell you that his name is Eric and he was one of the single most stunning-looking Inuit men I have ever seen in my life.He came into my store once in Kensington Market and I literally couldn't take my eyes off him, he was so gorgeous, with waist-length black hair...Johnny Depp/DDL then or now doesn't even come close, I tell you! I hear he's now a well-known carver of Native ritual masks.

Look at you, glamour puss, giving Johnny a feel! You're hotter than hot in that divine leopard coat and ooh what I wouldn't give for those amazing sparkly heels!

If I didn't know better I would have thought you were the star of the film, strutting for the paps on the opening night. Looking gorgeous darling! Love the saucy tongue for Johnny one minute then the carefree wave. It's a good job he wasn't there. He and G would be brawling over you! It wouldn't be seemly. xxxx

That film looks amazing and ridiculous! I must see it. You look fabulous in your leopard print, getting all up close and personal with Johnny, can't wait to see that film too! xxxx

My love, from a place of love and honesty, that frock is fucking hideous. Seriously. Send it over and I'll drop it off at the tip shop for you. I WILL. I PROMISE. You are so lucky to have me.

You are, apart fro the frock, absolutely DIVINE. The coat is such a perfect staple - it's like you've always had her and the rest of your outfit is pure magnificence. Johnny does look rather fetching with the bird on his head. I might make one for myself!

Love you more than massage and porn,

Sarah xxx
