Her voice is soft like Summer rain

G and I attempted to go to brunch the Saturday before his birthday, foolishly thinking that a hip cafe in town would be suitable.......hmmmm, 'twas not to be due to the volume and dreadful thumpingness of  music that I can't imagine any hipster finding pleasant to dine by, let alone a couple of uncool old feckers like ourselves!
So we went and had dumplings instead.

I wore:
Frock-50's, Madame Butterfly's
Cape-it was made by my sisters late Mother in law some years ago. I attached a faux fur collar that Vix had sent me
Cardi's-opshopped
Tights-retail
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag- a Rex, opshopped
Green faux fur hat-from the gorgeous Leisa
Sunglasses-Catch a Thief

Beautiful colours, red, yellow and tan are fabulous together, and you have a queenliness about you which is somewhat breathtaking!

I can't bear loud music to eat to. Urgh. In fact, I can live without terribly loud music altogether. Can I join your uncool old fecker's gang please?

I love it when people turn my preconceptions on their head. I find beige hard, but you've made it look easy. The combination of red hair and glasses with green beret is just stunning! xxxxxx

oooh! I love the fuzzy green hat and that dress is one of my favorites!

PS: For the vegan corn chowder, I mix in a can of coconut milk. It gives it a Thai flavoring that you might enjoy. I also stir in a little Sambal Oelek to give it some spice.
