Your former glories and all the stories, dragged and washed with eager hands

I have mentioned my current square dance frock obsession......imagine my delight when I spotted this little beauty at Two Squirrels!!
And it fits perfectly.....'twas clearly meant to be that I should grab my partner and do si do with the best of 'em.
I did do a little square dancing when I was a young trollop in rural Australia......don't remember a bit of it, except the agony of having to dance with a spotty boy....G's parents, however, were keen square dancers for years!
I'm more than a little annoyed with being so late to the party, as G's Mama got rid of her frocks years ago.
Do si DOH!

Anyways, I'm twirling now.
G's Mama is rather impressed with the few square dance frocks I have managed to gather.....

I am numero uno!!! What gorgeous frockage, & how wonderful to find that specimen at Squirrels HQ! I keep searching for square dancing frocks too, but they seem to have teeny waists. Small waists are my enemy. Hope you're having a gloriarse weekend darling. Xx

Gorgeous color - like grape juice on its way to being a fine wine. And you look fantastic in this color (I think I say that about every color you wear)!

Purple, my favourite colour. You look regal, Empress Helga.

Gloriarse! Sometimes a Helgaism is the only thing that will do! This dress looks so fabulous on you, just lovely with the colour and the fit and I love the way you have styled it with that short jacket, fishnets and high heels. You are the leading lady of square dance frocks. I want to be part of your court! I may not have much skill, but I am quite an enthusiastic country dancer if that helps? Keep twirling my lovely! xxxxxx

What a wonderful frock! And you found it at the Squirrels' shop, which makes it even more special. It's the most beautiful purple-y fuchsia shade, I love it. And what a perfect fit - it was meant to be yours, darling!
I love how you have rock chick-ed it up a bit with fishnets and stripper shoes and a studded belt, woo hoo!
LOVE the bag (of course I do), LOVE the thought of you square dancing as a young trollop, and would LOVE to see you Do Si Do oh oh oh! xxxxxxx

It always amazes me how you have tights that are the exact shade as your dresses. I can never quite match up like that.

Those cat-eye sunnies are great too.

we got a ton of square dance dresses donated a couple of years ago. They are very country fried and not nearly as awesome as the ones you find

Wow those fishnets are fantastic! Are they layered over other tights or do they come like that?

The colour of the dress is gorgeous. Especially with your hair.

Do si DOH indeed! You look unbelievably fabulous in this dress - it is a total knockout!!!!! Gorgeous colour on you and perfect for a bit of twirling. Gawd, I can remember having to prance around as part of school sport doing barn dancing. As much as I loved dancing I always hated having to touch the sweaty, smelly, warty teenage hands. Yuck! XXX

Ah, you twirl as Fabulously as my Grand-Daughter, the Diva Princess T who would rather go buck naked than wear anything that wasn't absolutely Fabulous and Fashionably eccentric enough to turn every head. *winks* She's only eight... Lord knows how obsessed she'll be about her ensembles by her tweens?!? She even accessorizes her School Uniform to the hilt so that she'll stand out and not look so , well, Uniform! *winks*

I think you should wear nothing but square-dancing dresses all summer - you look positively GLORIOUS in this outfit! The shape is idea for you, and you've accessorized it perfectly.

This could be a sign that you and G should take up square dancing as it is in his family history. You would be the coolest couple on the floor.

There's nothing square about that fabulous frock, totally rock and roll with those sexilicious peep toes, fishnets and flashy petticoats.
The only dancing I ever do is pissed up drunken dancing in the mosh pit, I don't know what square dancing is....should I be ashamed of myself? I'm off to google it.
Love you! xxxxxxx
