But there's something in your eyes that says maybe....and that's never

A couple of Fridays!
Last Friday, we went out for dumplings.
Delightful parcels of goodness!
I do like to make them, but sometimes it's just easier to go out for them.

(Frock-60's, from my sistercousinwife Sarah, whom I shall be groping in a mere matter of months!, brooches opshopped and gifted, neck pice from cambodia, the pendant was made by friends Claire and Mike)

I do not feck around when it comes to chilli.

Fridays usually entail a little opshopping, last Friday I scored a small JAJ Pyrex casserole dish, a Nigel Slater cookbook, some silverware (I am obsessed with serving spoons) and a red frock.

G bought me a divoon bunch of lillies, and then displayed his flower arranging prowess....

This Friday, today!

Frock-Retropolitan, someones home made 80's does 50's number. Love the print and colours!
Tights-retail
Shoes-Trade Me
Handbag-70's tooled leather, opshopped years ago
Scrum of brooches-opshopped
Beads-60's, opshopped
Earrings-thrifted in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, 2012
Little jacket in bag-70's, opshopped
Sunglasses-Catch a Thief

I had more compliments on my outfit today than I've had hot dinners!
HUZZAH!

And a little more opshopping; today I picked up another bed table, a little white cardi, some metal zips, a jar, a sweet 60's brooch, a duvet cover which will become a frock someday, and the most stunning vibrant pink and white frock!

That lamp, bottom left, was a gift from my darling sistercousinwife!!!

Love the pink/white dress - what a dramatic ruffle down the front! Your today dress is amazing (and I hope you won't be creeped out by me saying, "Nice rack!" - I do think women are far too catty with each other and should celebrate each other's awesomeness more often, and that includes boobage appreciation).

You find the most awesome things in your op-shop expeditions.

G is a whiz at flower-arranging! That twisted piece at the side is the piece de resistance!

Dumplings...nom nom nom. That homemade orange-y dress does fit you like a glove, no wonder you've had so many admirers today.
The pink and white dress is a killer - so simple and then there's the drapey ruffle. Can't wait to see you rocking that!

Flower arranging now? Is there ANYTHING that man cannot do!!!

How thoughtful of someone to make a dress just for you! It does look splendiforous. I want to see this duvet cover made into a dress! Bed linen is always so good for dress fabric. Now I want dumplings too!

That long dress with the ruffle is stunning. I cannot wait to see you vamping around in it.

I love your trio of brooches too. I *almost* bought a bag similar to the one you have here yesterday. I can see where your style sense is invading my brain.

Love those dumplings, darling! Ooh yes, and the chilli oil, can't resist it.
The purple frock is a beauty; and THEN you bring out the orange deliciousness, which is quite superb; and THEN you show us the pink and white ruffled stunner, and I am positively drooling! That side detail is gorgeous, can't wait to see you frolicking in that one, my love! You did well at the op shops; I am in a drought, but that's OK, trying to restrain myself anyway...
And G is quite the flower arranging king on the quiet - that man has many, many talents!
Have a fabularse weekend! xxxxx
