This limbo is no place to be a digit in another space

I was a luck, luck, lucky gal recently to be invited, along with my lovely ladies Daisy and Jo, along to a Ladies who Lunch fashion event by our darling friend Christine of The Vintage Cupboard!!!
Not the sort of event you'd usually see me at!
I have to say, I had low expectations, but ended up having a brilliant time!
Our table was filled with fabularse ladies; we received a 3 course lunch and bubbly, and we squawked and admired and drank and laughed all afternoon.....
It was mostly a show of accessories, so Christine's parade at the end of the show of gloriarse vintage and modern frockery was a breath of fresh air!

Christine herself!

This frock was my favourite...

I also liked these bitchin' shoes and poodle print!

This 50's frock is a sweetie too!

Foxy babes! No idea who they were, but they looked divoon.

Oooo, yeah! Daisy going in for a good grope there....

Then Daisy and I waited outside for Christine to tidy up, and we went off for drinkies!

Daisys shoes!!!

Chatting up some local talent

Getting arty with Daisys discarded glove and a terrarium.

The tram runs right up New Regent Street.
Haven't been for a ride in years...shame on me!

Another bar, and a splendid view of one of my favourite pieces of graffiti around our broken city!

Thank you, darling Christine, for such an unexpectedly divoon afternoon!

X

So ladylike, darling, yet still managing to ship a load of booze - excellent!
You look just beautiful in baby blue and gold, that's a gorgeous frock. And Jo, Daisy and Christine all look fabulous, don't they? Jo looks like a film noir heroine, and Daisy should be in some technicolour musical from the early 1950s - both glorious outfits and beautiful ladies!
What a good time was had! xxxxx

Lovely ladies, lovely frocks -- and what a very nice little white hat that is, in the foreground!

The plate of nibbles (with nasturtiums?) definitely appears good enough to eat!

Squeeee! Everyone looks fabulous. I love that shade of blue, and am lemming those tights of yours, Helga!

You know when you see old movies (or most recently, featured in "Mr. Selfridge"), and they have those fancy dress modeling events in upscale stores/boutiques? I have always wanted to experience that, and you have! Fabulous!

A vision in ice blue! What a trio of hotties you make. Isn't it strange that the events you least want to go to turn out to be the most fun?
Poodle skirt? Hell yes!
I'd murder for those olives and cheeses right now and demand a Helga does the tram photo very soon!

What a wonderful do it turned out to be! Always best to take a couple of lovely friends along, just incase... Your table definitely looks like the most stylish, you look just amazing and your friend Christine is a beauty too. Stylish people attract stylish people. Fact. I love the look of that grub, definitely going to try out some flower food this summer. I read recently that nasturtiums taste like capers, a bit peppery. Interesting. Did i mention that you look wonderful? Well you dooooo! I would have gone for that amazing print dress too. I agree with Vix. Let's see hot Helga riding the trams! Lots of love to you my dear xxxxxxxxx

Isn't that wonderful when you don't expect to have a good time and it turns out to be loads of fun? You three make a divinely dazzling trio. I want to know Daisy's skin care routine - she has the most glorious creamy complexion.
