This unrest beats out my breath

Indeed, some of you have noticed that I've streamlined things around here somewhat.
Frankly, I was bored looking at it all, and if I'm bored....well...........doesn't bear thinking about, really!
I figured all that clutter was distracting form the main event-which is ME!!!!
Me me me me me me meeeeeeeee...........
I think I could do more, but it's outside my technical know how, so this will do for now!
(I could list all my computery skills on the back of a postage stamp)

Frock-60's, from the sweetest Squirrel
Coat-70's, would have been part of a pantsuit, I'm guessing, opshopped
Scarf-opshopped
Tights-retail
Handbag-60's, opshopped
Beret-can't remember
Sunglasses-Catch a Thief
Gloves-60's, opshopped
Ridiculous heels-opshopped
Necklace-cobbled together by myself a few years back
Earrings-from the lovely Sue

Purple paisley? Now you're talking! I LOVE that frock, and the coat and beret, mmmmm! And I must agree, those heels are ridiculous but oh so sexalicious! It looks cold, darling, but bright and sunny, I love the light in these photos. And a wee glimpse of Fragonard too, gorgeous!
It's a funny thing with blogs, you see the side bar, etc, all the time, but after a while I don't think you really notice because it really is all about the person you're visiting. In this case - YOU! Never, EVER boring, always fabularse!
Loving yooooou! xxxx

Your The Swing necklace was "nobbled together"? Ooooh that sounds a bit like bum doesn't it? (sorry, Blackadder will not eject from my brain) I love the new-look Helga page, more blank space so my drool doesn't get in the way of the pics of your gorgeousness!!!!!! xoxoxooxoxoxoox

As my youngster pointed out looking at "The Swing", there's a man looking up the lady's skirt. I honestly hadn't noticed, but it is true.

Purple, you do look regal in it. You always have the best tights in the just-right colours. The blog redesign looks good- nice and bright.

That lovely slash of long auburn hair is working well with berets!

I was tickled that Goody's child noticed Fragonard can be "risky"! Trust Helga to spot the fun in the classical menu.

You're looking very royal in all that purple! That dress is wonderful - purple paisley perfection.

Leave it to a child to notice that there's a guy looking up the swinging dame's skirt ;)

So put together you are in purple. I love the dress and coat but hot dam those heels are sexy! I hope the cold holds off a little longer we will see temps in the high 80's this week, oh know Portland in shorts, it's frightful!

Well yes, you are looking wonderfully streamlined. And your blog is too! Purple is of course a very regal colour so it is only fitting that Queen Helga would rock it sideways. I love you and the girls in your little purple paisley shift dress with your bedroom shoes and your little beret and your necklace of The Swing. She's sort of like an 18th century Helga; she is to swings what you are to tractors. What would we do with you, you, youuuuu?! Xxxxxxxxxxx
