Ain't no beauty queens in this locality (I tell you)

So my G Star is out of his cast and into a moonboot.
It's so ugly I can't bear to take a photograph of it!
The tendon seems to have joined up already, so the doctor is pleased.

He's still on crutches and completely useless though!
Thank the heavens for wiiiiiiine............

Recent opshop finds include this lovely 50's Swedish made bowl, this nicely battered old camera case,

a heavenly tin tray and another tin for my collection,

plus this sweet Pyrex bowl with lid!

Your op shops are so much better than our chazzas. That Swedish dish and tin tray are utterly fabularse. I would be so tempted to decoupage that gorgeous camera case with lurid 70's fabric. I'm loving the white tights with babydoll style shoes combo xx

What a lovely dress, fits you like a beautiful dream. As soon as I saw that bow, I knew you'd done something clever. I believe you must be the photographer and model too in the current circumstances. Congratulations on multi-tasking. Wow, that is good progress, still sounds painful. Hell yeah, thank heavens for wiiiine!! You are doing so well! Xxxxxxxx

Oh PLEASE show us the moon boot! G-Star is so damn hot he can rock it, I'm sure!
Gorgeous frock, darling, loving the messy side-bunnage as always, and you've been finding some great stuff at the op shops - that Swedish bowl is fab, and I love that the Pyrex dish has its lid.
Not long now, and Nurse Helga can stop with the bed baths...
Love you! xxxxxx

This frock is anaranjado I think that is orange in Spanish and what a bold orange it is, love the lace bit at the top! Your hair is looking ever o elegant!

Best news that G is healing well! You are a total beauty queen, and I ESPECIALLY admire your ability to hold that long bag level in your outfit photos! You are divine, you and your sweet finds. xoxo

I have never wanted a pair of white tights...until now. How do you do it?! You make the most unlikely things (white tights, camera cases)look worthy of the pages of a glossy mag.

Pyrex is addictive, ain't it?

Glad to hear G is improving, that sounds like it was painful.

Great finds. I have a collection of the little Pyrex fridge dishes packed away somewhere. The dress it lovely; a yummy orange creamsicle!

Your nursing has done wonders, he is on the mend!
You are a vision in orange and white. Love the dress and accessorizing. I have a battered binoculars case somewhere around here that I just loved until the strap broke. Those cases are so fun!

I usually don't like white tights. However, white tights do balance the vivid coat with the brightly patterned dress, and neatly tie those sweet shoes to the top. OK, white tights are wearable under certain circumstances but only on certain legs...like yours.

a wonderful blast of color. But my eye was drawn to the Virgin w/sequin tote bag on the wall. Be still my heart

Absolutely perfect! Gah! I was feeling down about the Northern Hemisphere's impending winter, but this outfit makes me crave pulling out my coats and tights and wintry bags.

I knew that bow had to be your handiwork! All that red against the green bush...lovely!
Glad the cast has transmogrified into a moon boot. Ugly, but still progress:-)
You still have your looks in this hour of dreadfulness, and not even a rip in your tights with all the manual labour. I'm impressed! ;-) XO JJ

Sorry about G but glad he is on the mend! I do want to see a pic of him in the moonboot though! You look smashing in all that red and it sure pops against the backdrop of green.

Glad to hear that G's tendon is mending! Those boots are very ugly - a colleague of mine had to wear one to work for several weeks.

You are a Tangerine Dream in this outfit! Those Pyrex dishes are quite collectable over here, and hard to find.
