Cast me adrift and set me to sail, just on last kiss before raising hell

Yeah, so, I managed not to get any pix of our trip down to Oamaru on the Friday, nor of what I wore, nor of the Penguin Club gig.....but I did manage to get it together on the Saturday for some useful shots!
Bahahahaaaaaa!!!

We stayed at the motor camp in Oamaru, which was the backdrop for my Saturday packing up gear and tripping down to Dunedin outfit.

Nice car.

This is Sean our guitarist.

I took a few snaps of local art whilst the boys packed up gear...

The Penguin Club is in the Victorian Precinct of Oamaru, one of my favourite places to visit.

We stopped in at Fleur's Place, in Moeraki for a coffee break. It's quite famous.

Purple Rain, where we played in Dunedin, is a retro cafe which a space downstairs for entertainment.
It wasn't really a good set up for a band, but we made do.
The decor was bloody awesome; the religious paraphernalia especially rocking my knickers off...

A quick selfie before heading off to play

And a few pix courtesy of Purple Rain (I think) of our little gig.

We didn't set the world on fire, but we had a great time, which is what it's really all about!

YOU SET MY WORLD ON FIRE! LOVE that amazing square dancing frock - plus the tights/shoes combo is EXQUISITE! The art is quite magnificent and you know how I feel about religious crap! Purple Rain looks like a gorgeous venue - quite suitable for your magnificence. And you are stunning beyond belief in that divine purple maxi. Love you more than Prince! S xxxxx

Purple reign-you, in that gown! You need a scepter though, I wish I were artistic enough to make you one. You should be able to give out honorific titles because you could come up with better ones than, "Sir" or "Dame"-of that I'm certain.

I'm alight just looking at you. I gotta go shove some ice cubes down my dress.

Gorgeous image overload! Don't even know where to start - the purple with bling belt at Purple Rain is as divine as the d├ęcor. I'd worship you! And those blue tights! Aaaaaaaaaargh! What a beautiful place New Zealand looks. Might have to get myself there one day.

I love that you wore purple to play at Purple Rain (of course) - did you sing that song too?

Fab outfits as always, and adoring the detail on the tights.

Oamaru looks like somewhere in the UK, the architecture is so British.
Loving the purple ensemble and the crazy print on the square dancing frock, the car is ace and yeah, I'd be wetting my knickers over that religious tat, too!
Love you! xxxxxxxx

That first frock has got to be one of my all time favourites. It looks so splendid on you. I have those blue tights too. I love the cut out pattern. So what did you think of Dunedin this time around? I'm feeling heart sick at the mere thought of it! Xx

So good to see G navigating rough terrain with a single stick! He'll be doing stairs solo by summer!

The tiers of gathered ruffles on the floral frock are like flower petals, so charming with the fabric and style -- and what appears to be a remnant of an honestly old Navajo necklace now missing its squash blossom pendant. Wherever did you find it?

Glad you enjoyed a great time in that great Grecian gown!

That first dress with the ruffles is da bomb!

Oamaru and Moeraki are such beautiful names and so foreign and exotic to my ears. I love it when you go on your travels and take us along for the ride. I admire your attitude to your music. Having fun with your friends and seeing the country is the perfect reason to do it. Gawd, both these looks are divine! Love the fab print frock and those cut out tights. That style is perfection on you, and then there's the regal drama of your Queen Helga frock. Honestly, if I came to your gig, I wouldn't care if you couldn't sing a note! I'd just enjoy watching you. I have an identical tiara and sequinned elasticated belt. Might have to do a Helga homage one of these days. Xxxxxxx

Those blue tights are amazing! I rather love Oamaru as well, such a pretty wee town. Too bad the space in Dunedin wasn't as good as it could be - I'm sure you guys rocked it anyway :D
