We're all looking at a different picture through this new frame of mind

We've been plagued, PLAGUED, I tell you, by a nasty cold wind lately.
It's really rather fecking annoying, as it's all sunny and lovely, and lulls one into a false sense of security....and then BAMMO, the wind just cuts on through you like a knife dipped in tiger balm.
Ugh.
I'm not a fan of wind!
So, yes, it may be mid November, but I am wearing a COAT, and have been almost every bloody day for the last week or so!
Grrrr.

It's rather rare for me to wear a skirt!

Hot and steamy - bahaha.. seems a long way off for sure! Spring is always a bit of a mixed bag weather wise.. I personally rather like it. Summer is far too frigging hot for my likes.
You are looking glamorous in the gales as usual. xx

Why don't you wear skirts more often? You look luscious in that gingham beauty, I love it! Such a pretty blouse and necklace too, but yes, it's a shame to be wearing a coat... Mind you, we are very used to coats in summer here in the UK! Always lovely to see G's mum's Rex getting an outing.
"I am not a fan of wind"... A classic Helga-ism! Love you! xxxx

You look fabulous as always. I would trade for your cold weather in a heartbeat, it's looking as though winter may pass us by again this year.

Can't wait to see you hot and steamy...uh...wishing you warmer weather :)

Like you I am WAITING for the good weather, maybe not hot and steamy but at least NO RAIN or WIND!! It is being a bugger and dressing for this shite weather is impossible. BUT in saying that, you do manage, and you look gorgeous. Glad you got the necklace, my eagle eye is forever watching for you on TM!!

"I am not a fan of wind" is a line worthy of the late, great chanteuse Blossom Dearie. From me, that's high praise indeed.

Skirts and blouses can go twee -- but not when paired with a sleek vest and sturdy boots. Sorry about the windy weather, dear Helga, but the mid-century Berlin look suits you!

Lusting after you cavorting in sleeveless frocks and sandals is about the only tolerable thing about our Winter. Weather Gods, take note!
Loving the checked Country and Western style skirt, it looks gorgeous with that fabulous blouse and crazy sunnies.
Love you! xxxxxxx

The wind...how DARE it mess with you?!
No playground romping? I'm not sure I could be as restrained...something about swings, isn't there?

I'm going mad for the neckline on your blouse, and the waistcoat. I hope your weather improves soon.

It is unusual to see you in a skirt, but it looks wonderful on you. Gosh I'd swap this heat for coat weather any day, but wind does make for difficult frock pics. Xx

Fabu! We have had a biting wind here too but ours is paired with thin winter sun and lots of gray and brown. I'd prefer the bright sun and greenery!

I really must remember to add some ruffles to my dresses. Your skirt looks fantastic. Damn and blast bi-polar weather!

The wind and a fabulous full skirt? can cause terrible problems, your gingham skirt is divine and the waistcoat/blouse is giving me dirndl inspiration! hurrah! though not hurrah for your weather, boooo! to the weather *shakes fist* x x x

I'm not a fan of skirt myself. My belly is too flabby. Do I put the skirt under the flab or over? I have the dilemma so I just say screw it!

Tell you what, I send you some of the snow we have here already, and the wind can blow it around ;)

That is a rather fetching outfit - love the plaid and the little waistcoat - and it's unfortunate it must be covered up by a coat. Hopefully you'll get your summer weather soon.

I'm not a fan of wind. But sometimes I just can't help it!! :D i've taken so damn long to get round to commenting it could well be midsummer by now. It is very rare for you to wear a skirt. What an example to tempt us with. Luvverly. Yeah, i'm looking forward to you making us all jealous of sweltering temperatures, bare legs and a sun-kissed visage. I want to see cocktails and frolicking on the lawn xxxxxxx
