Fallen leaves in the night, who can say where they're blowin'

WTF is going on with that intense blue sky in April?!
Turned out to be a gloriarse day, with a delightful warm breeze. Just when I was settling into Winter colours and snugglies, along comes a splendid day to get a pile of washing done and open all the windows!
I had to pop out on a small mission, and had the windows right down in the car, blowing my hair all up like being an extra in a Beegees music video.
O yeah.

More than a nod to the amazing Goody here.
We seem to have  similar ladylike with a crass core sensibility going on, and I find her highly inspirational!
You rock, lady!

My hat, jacket and frock are all from my darling sistercousinwifey at different times, and don't they go together perfectly?!
I got the charming perhaps  60's Australian tourist souvenir bracelt whilst in Canberra for Helgastock 2015; it's slightly broken, but O how I love it! It was also a freebie at a Sallies we went to!
The bag was a gift from sweet and gorgeous Carli!

Got to love a clear blue sky!! I don't mind if it is cold as long as it doesn't RAIN! Love the colours you are wearing and Peepers tail and bum photo bombing antics.

It's all fabulous. Love the pussy! I saw you in Canberra, at the Old Bus Depot Markets and I really wanted to say hello because i love your blog so much but I was too shy. You looked smaller, younger and even prettier in real life! As soon as I left the markets I regretted not saying hello, dammit. Ah well, I did but see her passing by....

That bag is a stunner.
Your sky is insanely blue, I think you've nicked our Spring. Its grey, freezing and vile here this morning. i nearly got hypothermia at the car boot sale.
Love you! xxxxx

The beaded bag is a beauty! In fact the whole outfit is Helgatastic from top to bottom, and it's always a joy to see those gorgeous locks blowin' free! You do have the Goody vibe going on - elegant with more than a hint of rebel in the mix!
Being photobombed by a cat's arse is always fun to see, btw. LOVE! xxxxxxx

I was just thinking I'd wear that jacket and dress, before I scrolled down. Darlin' the crass core is the only thing that makes life worth living (and gin, of course) and I'm flattered you see and appreciate it. You're MY role model.

Man, you look good in aqua blue. I hope your weather holds out for the weekend.

You have an amazing memory for color and fabric, dear Helga, to delve into your wardrobe and make ensembles appear as if by magic! The jacket, frock and hat were desitned to be worn together. But the beaded bag is anything but what would be expected of that shy little veil -- a pinch of salt on the vanilla icing!

Baby turquoise, yummy, what a great outfit (outfit was the word my grandmother used to describe a suit, and these clothes look like they are meant to go together). Hey Peepers, does it get on your nerves when your mama keeps photobombing you? Nice butt, by the way. Anyway, back to you Helgita! You look so ladylike and elegant here, I love that you have so many different looks and yet they are all so authentically you. Xxxxxxx

Channelling Goody can never be a bad thing, she rocks. Nice to see the cat getting in on the action too.

I love seeing your titian locks floating free! Is that mint, or would it be aqua? Very coordinated, especially since it was acquired in bits and pieces.

Our weather has been a bit all over the place too. I never leave the house without checking the weather forecast first.

Been flipping through your archives. Love your style, it's inspiring me as I work to build a fully vintage and handmade wardrobe :)

Gotta love a blue sky! Gotta love you in your minty gorgeousness.
And what about a cat nicking in to a photo? How can you not love a bit of cat arse photobombing? They do it so well.

Nobody does blowing hair like the Bee Gees and Helga! Your outfit in Robin's Egg Blue is stunning with your red hair too. xo
