I know you're feeling me, 'cause you like it like this....

I would make a very good bear. A big, snuggly, cherry coloured bear.
Hibernating throughout the Winter months is totally my bag.
I'm actually enjoying this properly cold Winter, maybe for the first time ever!
(although the whining usually starts about mid July)
Warmies, coseying up with G, lots of potatoes, movies, books and sleeping are the main activities.
Social?!
Um, not much. And then largely under duress.
Feeling far too lazy!
But I have been mostly reaching for this wool coat I opshopped a few years ago for a tenner if I have to go out.

Love you, Sue!

HELGA, darling!! I've missed your posts so. I intellectually understand hemispheric differences and all that, but it's still so fundamentally weird to me to hear people talking about winter in July when I was at the beach in a bikini yesterday. ^.^ I'm definitely bookmarking this outfit for my own winter inspiration in a few months. Looooove those boots.

You've been missed!

If you must have winter, that's the way to do it.

Yes indeed. You are a very sweet little bear. Love your furry toque.

First?! First to note that en lieu of fireworks -- the pyrotechnics will begin in about an hour, it's still the Glorious 4th here -- my eyes are dazzled by the reappearance of Helga! The coat is luxe, the boots are fascinating, and The Reveal is typically atypical Helgaesque: spring flowers 'neath the winter burgundy and flamingoes at her ears.

Absolutely stunning outfit. The colour of your coat is fabulous. Love the bag very much and I have the exact same hat but mine has ties with pom poms on the ends. Wish it was winter here. Xx

That coat! Those boots! Gawd I love a bit of cherry red (I bought some new kicks that same colour recently). But what are "warmies"? Anything like a hot toddy? Or more like a hot water bottle?

I've missed your outfits and your attitude! The coat is such a lovely rich colour - you look very snuggley and huggable! The button-y boots are gorgeous.

As other commenters have noted, it is rather strange hearing you talk about winter as we are just getting into real summer weather here. Stay cozy my friend!

That was a tenner well spent, a gorgeous vino-coloured coat which looks amazing with the Cossack princess hat. Winter is crap, I'd hibernate too if I had the chance.
Love you! xxx

Where have you been, darling?! Apart from in hibernation, that is! You look warm and beautiful, that cherry colour is gorgeous, and I am lusting over those boots. Good to see you, babe! xxx

Lovely even if you become a cherry coloured bear!, lovely color and lovely boots too!!
Glad you're enjoying your hibernation as a pro, but I've missed your colorfulness!!

Hello my lovely, you'd make the sweetest cherry bear, all snuggly and cute! I think you're right. When people suggest social activities in the winter, I look at them as though they are mad. The only reason I enjoy leaving the house is to go to the airport and get a plane somewhere warm :))) anyway, how do you do it? Have the perfect accessories in EVERY colour? You're a sartorial queen! Xxxxx

Oh gosh that outfit is wetting my whistle so to speak! That frock print and those boots. Inspirational! I keep thinking we are due to visit you, it feels very odd not jetting over to NZ in our usual August. Even though we were only over weeks ago it feels like it never happened! Xx
