Pinking out the day - dreaming out the crazy way

These 60s beads and 70s pendant are two of my favourite opshop finds in recent years!

Back in the land of the living!
My o my, I have been blowing some spectacular specimens out of my nose.....
Spring, and I, are ready to bounce about like new born lambs!

Oh, that colour combo is positively shimmering off my screen this morning! that purple coat is fabulous with the baby blue midi and I can see why you love those jewels so much - bling-a-ding-ding.
Good to see you back in the land of the living. You'll soon be quaffing cocktails on the lawn in the sunshine while us lot of swearing about bastard cold.
Love you! xxx

Screw the ruby slippers on the Wicked Witch of the West-the Wicked Witch of the South has a badass pair of boots! Look out for the flying monkeys though, they're gonna be pissed. Better grab the boots fast before anyone notices.

Purple suits you, regal as you are, and that hat beats a tiara any day. How DARE a cold make you miserable?

And I love the lippy-great shade.

It appears one of your neighbors has fainted at the sight of your loveliness. And with good reason. You are a vision in purple. The necklaces are perfect. And nobody can rock a pair of colored tights like you can. Black boots with bare legs are so last year.

You look positively vibrant in Violet! I'm sure the warmer weather will clear up any last remnants of your cold. We are just starting to feel the autumn chill here, especially at night.

Are those the Wicked Witch of the West's legs sticking out from under your house?

Are those G's pins in the boots?

You haven't killed someone with your mad nose-blowing, have you?
You look murderously gorgeous in purple, it looks amazing with your hair down like that. Good to know you're recovering. xxxx

As is usual, it's the unusual touch -- animal prints up your sleeves -- that makes the ensemble truly yours. Purple, plums, bright blues and lavenders make up a sensational trans-seasonal palette for an artiste with hennaed hair!

(PSST...might want to count the neighbors, dear Helga. One fears there might be some unpleasantness in the grasses next to the house.)

There are gremlins in my posting box this morning --and something odd in the grasses alongside your house. (Are you missing a pair of boots and/or a neighbor?)

The purples, plums, brilliant blues and intense lavenders make up a marvelous palette for your hennaed hair, dear Helga, but it's the animal print up the sleeves that makes this ensemble truly yours!

Haven't seen much of you in the last 3 months. Where is my Helga?

I just noticed the legs under the house in your images - reminiscent of the WWW (Wicked Witch of the West)?

Anyhoo - we are holidaying here in Northern CA. See ya soon round the internets.
